Heard ardmona have been talking to a gun player from interstate called marty joyce??!!

Good spy work Ferg, have heard of Marty Joyce, fit, tall, healthy, in peak physical condition all year round and can kick a ball a mile. Any team in the league would be after a Marty Joyce, get onto it boys throw some coin his way.

I don't know about stanhope but I have heard Tally have some big names also one being Dundovic but with all these Shep swans names goin round i I think they won't let them all go.

I think you'll find most of the Shep Swans influence will be gone from Tally next year and they won't be picking any new blokes from the swans up from what i know. And i doubt Hayden Best will be anywhere but at the swans next year.

always turns up for training, never late and plenty of ice to keep the beers cold:thumbsu:

any news on who might be coaching ardy next yr. must be hard for ardy to attract any decent coaches based on the clubs reputation.

couldnt rule out perry playin again could you, would have thought he would stay at ardmona. although they have names mentioned to coach, if one of the prospective coaches falls through, i would expect perry to coach.
dont know about a meka to lancy, assume ardy paid him a quid and dont think lancy could match that. if they could and were willing, would be a handy forward line of meka, mitchell and eddy.

A.Meka has spoke to Lancy don't think much will come out of it, although he changes clubs nearly every year, Wombats may slide down a bit this year no recruits as of yet and lost a few to Ky.

No recruits as of yet and Lanky are going to slide?....it's the first day of November bud.

and maybe you could tell us who they will lose to ky?

Don't be surprised if there are a couple heading the other way, and also that a very hand midfielder from another KDL club makes a move to wombatland.;)

Have heard Geoff Connally has told Mooroopna he is not going to be playing there next year. Good news for Merrigum i would have thought.

heard there are a couple of fringe seniors players cosby going to lancy from ky and couple of young players from lancy to ky, was told they were only average players though. more importantly, will be hard to replace some impending retirements. Thomas, Carver, Parsons have all been good players and im reliably told they are not playing. maybe morgan too??

I knew Bomber was going to North Bendigo but didnt know that Wiggy and Chalks were heading with him! Where did you hear this KDL KINGS?

As for Eeyore and Coota they are only heading inter-state are they not?

My Footy - for more than just keyboard junkies.
Footy - I don't think we are exaggerating when we say that footy is the most important development ever in human civilisation.

And just when you thought BigFooty couldn't be any more footy'ish, sudddenly it has!

BigFooty has returned to the roots, the grass roots and introduced a new section 'MyFooty' for those people who are more than just keyboard junkies and actually participate in this fair game in some capacity.

Need to talk about injuries? Talk to us.

Auskick? Consult the good doctor.

Footy club administration? Speak to others who face the same issues and have done it all before.

Interesting Ringo-has been quiet. this thread and many others in a slumber at the moment. I'm sure some big news is around the corner. anyway did you know its International ranga day???:D:D:D

Have heard the names of Freeman, Huggard, Welch and J Rachele mentioned as probable departures from the bushcats - anybody able to confirm these?

Ive heard the same but at the moment it is all the pre season talk... And there is PLENTY going around at the moment, they all should be at the bushcats next year....

If any1 has anything set in stone put it on the table we need to get this forum jumping again....

I've heard the same things in regards to the players going into ky SD. I think they'll go in there for a bit and just see how they go. I'm sure Burners will wish them luck and just hope they find their way back out the road.
One thing Lanky have never done is try and hold players from trying out at GV level, pity Ky didn't afford the same sort of respect to blokes who want to go the other way - every year it's the same bullshit with them..

I don't believe that Faz would be hanging up the boots, but maybe fatherhood is demanding more hours from him on the nest.

Old Puss-nuts has retired the last 3 years that I know of, but he finds his way back to the club each preseason and he still has 'it'....may not be the quickest bloke by foot, but the mind and hands sure as hell haven't slowed.
Thomo battled injury most of the year (ribs, back, ankle, hamstring...you name it, he twinged or strained it), and just can't take a trick really. So it wouldn't surprise me if he's decided to sit it out.

Good opportunity for some of the younger blokes to step up.

As for me, I'll probably be watching from afar.

Same shit gets brought up every year.

This time last year all the discussion was about who would win out of Tonny and Stanhope, or Stanhope and Nathalia.

The fact is, even if they did play each other it'd be a practice match. Hardly anything to get too excited about.

We know the GVL is a stronger league than the KDL. We know the Murray League is a stronger league than the KDL.
The teams don't play each other for a reason.

And if you want an answer to the James question just look back through the thread, becuse it's probably been asked about 15 times since the end of the season.

...or maybe mainland, Lingy or On the money could help you out.

while where talkin bout stanhope how do you think they would go playin a practice match against a gv team like ky or tat ud think they would challenge tat but i dont know wheather thayd be good enough against ky just a thaught....id really like to see them take on a gv side though it would really determine how far ahead the gvl is over the kdl

And how do you think Rochester would go against Melbourne. Exactly what cosby said, that's why we play in different standard leagues.
Why did Tonny drop back to the Murray league, Why did Strathmerton, Berrigan and Jerilderie drop back to the Picola League,
Why did Rumbalara go up into the Murray League, Mansfield up into the GV.
To all play in a league that was/is compatible to their standards.
