Attention to detail and good footwear completes the package. There is no excuse for this sort of fashion disaster from a club aspect. He has been issued with a uniform that can go with many combinations yet he chose that nightmare.
I'm all for individuality but not at the expense of good taste.

Reimers has a head that needs to be punched. Struts around like he is a 150 game superstar.

Yeah, i actually commented in the Essendon board earlier in the year that it won't be long before Riemers is the one Essendon player that opposition supporters love to hate.
It seems he is already starting to have that affect on people.

Good on him for showing some confidence in his own ability and getting in the face of the opposition.
I loved the way that didn't take a backward step when involved in a fight with Lucas in the intra club game.
It was after this incident that i came to the conclusion that he would be hated by the opposition supporters.
Generally speaking a player is doing something right to get this sort of response.

Just look at Aker...his return to form has coincided with a return to shades rather than colours.
The AFL barks up about wearing a tiny ribbon for charity...but these baby fashonista's are making an amateurish mockery of the game.
Should be limited to hair IMO.

Why stop at shoes? why not make everyone have the same haircut, short at the sides and trim at the top, no hair gel of course. Then we'll go and name everyone John Smith, just so it cuts out all individuality all together. What an awesome world that would be.

What is with people and his boots, how many people here watch soccer and rugby league? because they all wear blue, yellow, red and orange boots and nobody says anything about it, I don't see what the fuss is about, it is probably a sponsors thing, everytime I see a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo play he seems to have different colour boots, he might be the just about the best player in the world right now but no one says anything about his boots, they're a pair of boots and I think way too much has been made of them, as long as he is comfortable wearing them then I don't see a problem.

Our boy Warwick wouldn't have been seen dead in flourescent orange boots...or any other colour that clashed.
He wore white and red on occasions...in combination with big hair and small shorts it represented an individual and very bold fashion statement.
Reimers simply looks gay in those boots....it may even be one of those cryptic "tinky winky" things.

You need to earn those boots, and Kyle Reimers certainly hasn't done that. Players such as Nick Riewoldt, Adam Schneider and Daniel Kerr are ones that can wear the colourful type of boots as they have proved that they are champions of the game.

Its one of those unwritten "its just not cricket" rules that is reflected all through society.
For example...
If u start a new job as an 18 yo and walk in with suit, tie and a nicely ironed shirt thats good...but if u wear gay flouro orange shoes then the entire office will be calling u a w***er and laughing at you before u even sit down.
The boss however...he's earnt the right to wear those gay shoes and everyone understands his personailty... and the staff will respect his confidence and his right to look like a flamboyant raving homo w***er if he wants to.

And coloured is the new white.
It's not "flashy" to wear white boots anymore. Rob Harvey's been known to wear them occasionally. They're just your normal coloured boot.
Orange boots though... I think you need to earn those.
Yes, you can say they're just boots, but then why did we all used to ark up over nobodies wearing white boots?
