Stengle? Rookied, traded, cut, rookied....AA small forward 2 seasons ago.
Dylan Moore was AA last year, 4th rounder.
Brent Daniels, late 2nd.
Shai Bolton was also a late 2nd.

Some of those guys are much older than Watson, Kako, Pickett, Weightman, Rankine etc.

Cats being linked to Waterman was a load of bullshit lol

That was his agent trying to get more money out of the Eagles.
Not the first time an agent has used Geelong as a bargaining chip, just the season prior Parish's agent used Geelong to get Dons to up their offer to a 6 year deal.

Why would Geelong who is already filled with key and medium talls and forward line is their strongest position on the field pay way overs what their payment structure has outlined to go for a guy who had one great season in a sea of average ones who is a WA boy who didn't want to leave?

Cats insiders on BF also said it was baloney.

As for Kosi relating it back to the thread...

I like him as a player but i don't think he's worth what some people are saying.
He has his moments of elite footy but he goes missing through games and i'd pick many other small forwards over him.

We have other needs. Warner or Treacy. we take Warner
Treacy would be a great fit at Melbourne, Collingwood or other clubs.
We really need some more quality midfielders, a decent ruckman and another key defender way more than a third tall.
I don't think it is worth the capitol to get Pickett either.Rather the Purples have him.
Rather get more high end midfielders. and maybe a Curtin Jr.

As in small forwards right now? Hard to seperate but he’s in that group with:

Toby Greene, Tom Papley, Charlie Cameron, Tyson Stengle, Brett Daniels, Cody Weightman, Dylan Moore

I’d pick about 4 of those guys right now over him and honestly it could be debated that he’s in the top 3 of this group and also just outside of this entire group. Consistency is key

The farm isnt worth as much these days. The AFL Draft is heading into a recession over the next few years!

Waterman, Darling and Allen kicked 94 goals last year and Jye and JT 81 goals. So no we didn't need them.
What we needed was Allen to have a proper pre season and more than 11 games.
By the way Jack Williams is a better ruckman than Treacy so you are grasping at straws
