Roast Ladhams (3mtch) & Houston (2mtch) COVID Breach

I reckon they’re both gone for at least 4 weeks. The players knew the consequences. Pisses me off with this stupidity and after last weeks dismal effort, the club doesn’t need any more negative press.

Had my doubts we would see Westy again but with Ladhams probably gone it will give him a chance to come back in. Hope he can grab the chance and finish his career in the glory he deserves.

I guess the incident was already being disclosed to the players before the Geelong game or the rumour mill had already started. Could have been one of the reasons why we were so crap. Facebook indicating more players, but you know Facebook? The two can be replaced - Ladhams with Hayes/Westhoff and Houston with Lienert/Garner/Bonne/Bergman.
The group would have known before the Richmond game. We were just gassed against Geelong and the cats played well

If true, then f***ing unbelievable.
Reflects on the club more than anything else.
Players had been banned before - they knew the consequences, and still went ahead.

Has potentially derailed the entire season now

If found guilty, throw the bloody book at them Port, irrespective of what the AFL does!

Apart from losing players, this also hurts

If found guilty, Port Adelaide will be fined $50,000 with half of that suspended. And like Sydney on the weekend, the $25,000 the club has to cough up will be taken out of the 2021 soft cap.
Looks like they have classified it as a first offence, then

From 31 July 2020, Sanctions for Clubs for breaches of the RTP Protocols by Club People:

FIRST OFFENCE
- up to $50,000 sanction (50% suspended) - $25,000 included in 2020 Soft Cap

SECOND OFFENCE – up to $75,000 sanction (plus $25,000 from first offence) - $100,000 included in 2020 Soft cap

The group is stronger than that this year. Ignore the cats game we were gassed. We are a tight knit group one soldier down replaced with another all the players know this year is our 150th and they all have a strong resolve to make it a success despite the hurdles of this year. But dumb by these 2 no doubt

I want Eddie to come out and say he is proud of them

FFS! Their selfish stupidity reflects so poorly on the club.

Throw the book at them. In fact, throw the whole state library at them.

Don't be daft.

Have to laugh at people thinking the players / club knew before the weekends game. There is no way we play those guys if we know that. Whole club would be tossed out of this year if we're known to be willingly playing players who have breached covid protocol. Thats intentional club level breaches, which is about as bad as it gets.

aren't you allowed under 10 or 20 people at your house? is it just AFL rules they've broken, not real rules? if so this is just more AFL nonsense
