I am expecting a MONSTOR season from the leagues preeminant player this year with some more tools around him.

Something like 31.5 ppg, 8.5 apg, 8.0 rpg.

Cap it off with the title and all this Kobe talk will finally stop. LBJ is the best player since Jordan and by the end of his career he will be GOAT..

Monstor lolzor.

But seriously, he won't be GOAT, he may become the best player since Jordan but he's got a way to go and you'll never shut the Kobe talk up because Kobe is and has proven to be that good.

He'd move freer on court if he convinces to Mo Williams to get off his d!ck.
haha, very nice. Mo's gotta spread the love with Shaq now.

LeBron may be the best player in the NBA, but he's gotta learn to back that posing up with finals dominance.

Anyone else expecting a similar regular season from the Cavs where LNJ gets rest in the 4th most games?

Wouldn't mind somebody decking him this season.

To be honest, I'm suprised it hasn't happened more often/at all, especially during his first couple of seasons when Nike and the NBA were playing up that 'Chosen One' stuff constantly. I would have thought somebody (eg. Kurt Thomas, Ron Artest) would have decided they didn't want to hear LBJ be labelled God's gift from the get-go and just give him a stiff clothesline on his way to the hoop.

First off, no chance he achieves those kind of numbers unless he goes back to playing 42 minutes a night. So yeah, no chance.

Probably career highs in confiscated tapes, pre-game pretend photo shoots, post game hand shaking snubs etc.

Second, do some research on Jordan. LBJ is great, but he has a lot of work to do before he can even be considered the GOAT.

Haha, another bitter non-Laker fan. I love this stuff.

On a serious note though, with Shaq clogging up the lane I wouldn't be expecting too much from the Chosen One. I love the guy, I think he's fantastic for the NBA and Basketball in general. He's still going to have a great year and is a great chance to go to the Finals... but the GOAT is a lonnnnng way off. He needs to win at least 6 rings first for one thing... and not have his ar$e handed to him by the Spurs or the *cough* Orlando Magic.

To say he "could" be the GOAT by the end of his career is ok I guess.. but MJ literally changed not only the game but the way it was marketed etc.. so no one is going to emulate that.

LeBron would have to finish a 15yr career averaging a triple dip to top what MJ did for the entire sport of Basketball. Even then, you could probably still just say "MJ was better" and 8/10 people who saw both play would agree with you.

What would make you think I haven't done research on Jordan, who dosen't know what Jordan has done. The fact is LeBron is 24 now he can play for 10 more years at a high level, and with the econonmy the way it is in America there is only a few teams that will spend to try and win every year. As LeBron is such a huge star his team will have the money to allow him to contend every year. Before every one says LeBron's other worldly athleticisim will drop off soon bringing him back to the field, well I have news for you, when he moves to small forward permanantly he will score more points, his assists may go down but he will be a 30 ppg , 10 rbg man.

Lol at people comparing Kobe to LeBron, if LeBron had Kobe's team he would not have lost a game in the play offs this year.

didnt you bring up kobe vs lebron?

have you simulated the nba playoffs substituting kobe for lebron? just curious as to how you know that lebron wouldve gone undefeated in the playoffs.

Because you categorically stated that LeBron would be the GOAT by the end of his career.

well lebron certaining thinks hes the goat

His looping signature is sandwiched by others on a brick wall. Under a green-and-gold "Fighting Irish Wall Of Fame" sign, James, who writes left-handed, said goodbye to his beloved school by scrawling: "The Greatest of All Time. King James. History In The Flesh."

Well after a quote like that, from a high school kid who jacks off over himself, I think calling him a tosser is an understatement.

I actually do agree, but it just annoys me when Kobe's name comes up everyone gets into a massive jerk circle.
