Would be a terrible album to listen to because of the strange mash up of music.

I like a lot of music, from the '60s through to now, and I would say there was slightly more good than bad. McPharlin probably wins though.

FWIW, I can't believe Matty Boyd's choice hasn't gotten more love. Boyd and Nick Riewoldt win a real shit compilation IMO.

I wish the players wouldn't take themselves so seriously (you just know they probably spent an hour compiling a short list)...I definitely would have picked something like that 'You're the best' song from the Karate Kid for a few laughs.

And since it's invariably a first year player who gets the sub vest, it would also be kind of funny if one week they just pumped their favourite song over the PA when they were subbed on, like they're wrestlers or something. Good, solid rookie-hazing fun.

Oh well, better than the Channel 7 AFL Coverage soundtrack of late. "The boys are back!...the boys are back!..." Lots of rev-up, rock garbage, which makes the coverage appear immature and chaotic. And Mastodon doesn't really suit it either.

Even smashing the likes of Lifehouse, Stereophonics, Gyroscope, etc. was far less annoying. Holy Grail really worked as well, Ten knew how to do it.

I almost wish Chris Masten or Sharrod Wellingham represented WCE for the hipster lols. Atleast Glassy went local.

Trance and Hip-Hop alongside manufactured pop have screwed the music industry and who really wants to get pumped up listening to doof-doof anyway - that stuff belongs in lowered cars on Chapel and Lygon Sts.

Destroying the music industry? Do you know how many independent artists in hip-hop music do it on their own and shun the conventional ways of putting music out? Rap music isn't manufactured as much as you'd like to think, if at all. The manufactured stuff is for one hit wonders or 'singles artists' and it happens in every genre out there.

On topic, to be honest that's a completely average generic list of songs which is about what you'd expect. Applaud Trengove for taking the piss with Holy Grail though
