What difference does it make? We saw with JHF that even as a 1st year player that contracts mean nothing these days. Players will always have the power, until that's fixed up, contract lengths mean nothing

Very good point. This has literally changed my whole thinking. No thanks to the 3 years unless contracts are held to their terms and not grown in the bin as soon as the player decides it doesn't suit then
