Yer i know but like we cant do anything about it so just have to ride every week support and criticize.

As you can see luck and fortune in this competition change dramatically had we held on against Freo or Saints then the last few weeks would not have mattered.

But we didnt so we gotta get another 2 wins from somewhere if we cant well 13-1 was fools gold right?
As much as 13-1 could have been fools gold it’s also a joke to miss top 2 based around that win loss after 14 rounds. It would equate to shitting the bed. Do I think it will happen? Not convinced either way just saying it will be diabolical if it did eventuate. Win tomorrow and we solidify and keep the others at bay because they 2 also need to get through the next 4 weeks.

Imo, if we lose I'm giving up on the season. Need to show some of the form that made us the best team a few months ago.

OMG! Now we're describing the embarrassment of coming third in the home and away, after having led the comp... and we're a game and half clear on top of the table. Sure, maybe it will happen, but gees, maybe it won't! And unless we have further injuries, it's not very likely... so why borrow trouble?

No true competitor is 'embarrassed' about coming third or even fourth in a race of 18... disappointed sure, but not embarrassed. Embarrassed implies they didn't give it their all, they didn't work hard enough, they weren't trying... Well if you think any of those things, you're just not watching our boys close enough!!!

Being the best, doesn't always mean you win the comp... we certainly weren't the best team in either 2005 or 2012; and arguably were in both 2014 & 2016. Sometimes it's the team that gives themselves a shot and the luck falls their way; sometimes it's when the siren sounds that decides the team that wins. We've had injuries at the wrong time of year, it's a bugger... and maybe some are out of form, maybe some are carrying niggles... but there is a HUGE gap between AFL and VFL, just ask West Coast! They haven't been playing their injured players for a few years now.

Us... we're the keyboard warriors, with no skin in the game at all! We are not the people working our arses off to stay fit, stay ahead of the pack, playing through niggles week in week out! We're the people hanging in the crowd, or on the lounge, critiquing kicks, hand balls and fumbles from coverage designed to let us see the individual involved in the play at that precise moment... or any knowledge of the play trying to be executed, or the level of fitness, or what the opposition is doing to counteract it...

We have no rights at all to be 'embarrassed' about our team or our players! It's just complete rubbish...

Look, it’s as simple as this. I think we have posters here who are more comfortable saying we will lose and being wrong rather than Risking saying we will win a being right. I think it’s some kind of psychological comfort .
