I saw Tom Lynch at a Coles in Abbotsford a little while back. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the checkout was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

The kid can play. I think it's just some players seem to annoy you without a real particular reason. His probably unlucky to be in the top 5 thinking about it now. So I'll swap Power ranger Tex Walker in his place.

Zorko - Sniper & very unsportsmanlike.
Rohan - Disliked him even at the swans.
Robinson- One ugly head & terrible footballer who thinks he is a hard nut with his tatts.
Greene - Grub.

Lynch isn't a particularly brave player but likes to throw out the cheap shots. I think that alone makes him very unlikable. Cameron at GWS is similar.

As for this winning the prelim off his own boot, my memory of the game was that Richmond were poor in the first half but dominated the second half. Lynch got on the end of some great delivery and finished off the good work of the midfield. Please Richmond supporters, don't make out as though he was Carey like at CHF setting the goals up or taking pack busting marks, it just didn't happen.

Honestly, I think as part of his contract, he has to do a lot of media work and community commitments to justify the hefty salary he's getting. I don't think he would like half of what he has to do but in order to keep sponsors and managers happy, he's got no choice until he hits the down side of his playing career.
