And Davis' wasn't?i'd pay leon more than maxwell tbh. maxwell has been useless. his grand final was shocking. re-watch the opening goal. leon goes to the right spot and attacks the play. maxwell is flat footed, with absolutely no clue and costs them the opening goal.
Except on Channel 7 news. This should be in the rumours board. Nothing confirmed.

Taylor, a former Magpie turned commentator, has told 3AW that the 2011 All-Australian is set to play in the WAFL or SANFL next year.
“He has cut ties with the Collingwood Football Club as of today,” Taylor said.
Getting offered similar to a new draftee.
Insulting, deserves a heck of alot more. Have really grown to like him.
Except on Channel 7 news.
Yes, because they're really going to headline the sport with something that's rumourYes, Channel 7 reported that Brian Taylor thinks Leon has walked out of the club & it's confirmation.
Woweee!

Didn't Channel 7 also report that Alan Toovey had walked out of Collingwood!

Um, excuse me, no he wasn't, he was offered plenty more then a draftee, simply because he is veterans list eligible, and therefore a decent chunk of his contract would have been under the VL from next year on.
I don't trust what BT is saying, I'd say Leon's heart isn't in it anymore, his partner is an SA girl/women, and the rest of his family is in Perth, the pull for him to come home has always been there, and it's finally got him.
I'd say he's made this decision more with location in mind then money.

No one ever said Toovey had left, only that he was considering leaving due to what he and his manager felt was a crummy deal
If that was the case then something would have been done during trade week, not after it.
