Wasnt a stinker, just didnt dominate like I had previously.

You never had a "Dog Day Afternoon"?

I had stinkers playing footy, actually just about every day I played footy I put in a stinker.

But cricket & table tennis, okay, even in them I had a rare ... ;) stinker.

I dont expect Lobbe to give up

Excellent, now we are getting somewhere.

I've had bad games. But "that" game was down on previous. Didnt show enough for them knock on the front door.

What does Lobbe need to do to be competitive?? Remember, Jacobs has only played 50 games.

 So it's "acceptable" for Port players to have "stinkers" now ....CREED - where's that CREED when you need it !

Never used to be.

Haven't we all.

Needs to be more physical, needs lots of mongrel, needs confidence, needs a heap of consecutive games, needs a hell of a lot of mongrel, needs to improve his attitude, needs and extended break from the medical rooms & oh yeah, he needs a f'n lot of mongrel.

If you go back over the draft & recruiting board when Jacobs came available for trade, you'll find that I was very keen to get him.

If I was in charge we would have recruited him, no ifs, buts or maybes.

You're not suggesting "Prince Harry" is soft?

I always played up to the ability i possessed which was not very much but i never ever raised a white flag so high as what your club raised in the last quarter on sat night.

Supporters as well as players.

I'm suggesting he gets an implant of f'n mongrel.

Oh well, let's all stand back in awe of the superstar ................ NODDY

F'n bighead, you always played up to standard, you complete and utter tool, so you never played a bad game compared to your standard.

Why would anyone here bother talking footy with a bighead idiot like you anymore?

Comon Bernie, are you impressed by Noddy saying, and I quote, "I always played up to the ability i possessed"

How ****ing arrogant is that

The joker never had a day onfield down on ability.

I have been following footy since 1964, I have never seen a player who has never had a day down on ability.

****, Noody must be a ****ing robot.

Give me a break ...............

Neither did I ...

If I was out on the ground there would have been 5 fights before quarter time.

I was a terrible footballer, but I could start a fight.

Are you dave Granger?

Sigh. Stupid Port. We could've taken Thompson and Jacobs from the Cows if our trading people were adequate at their jobs. Pretty much their two best players.

Sigh :(
Would you really prefer John Anthony over Chris Dawes at Port if given the chance at picking either?

Are you dave Granger?

Nope.

Love him or hate him, ability was never a problem for Dave, he had ability by the bucket load.

But there was an element in Dave's makeup that short circuited his career, it was a pity, coz the bloke was a genuine CHF.

Whereas I was a terrible footballer.

I wonder if Kalty has checked his man boobs?

I don't blame Granger, he was only doing what Cahill told him to. You are right, he was a real talent, but got made into an enforcer. Cahill used this to great effect, but it killed Granger's career. Now a sad individual.

You have the legend of Granger's time lines mistaken.

Dave had well established his credentials well before the urban legend of Black Jacks reported instructions.

A reserves game he played, in 1977 I believe, where he took out the Glenelg reserves player, Alf Densley, permanently, was well before the urban legends came into being.

Despite what Russell says, IMO, the instructions from Black Jack are apocryphal.
