No, we still have less chance than them. They only need three wins, we need four.

Unlike them, we have a lot of excuses for losing, but the catch is that they're only relevant if we lose.

There will be no excuse's Porthos.

Get ahead of yourselves.

I dare you.

Why, is your captain going to use it for incentive cos he can't get himself up for an elimination final without extraneous motivation?

Oh, if we win tomorrow, its game on, but how dumb would it be to go over the top tonight and lose tomorrow? Unlike them, we don't have a second chance.

Maybe, but the fact remains that by using the same standards they so willingly apply to us, they choked. Case closed.

I want nothing more than to win tomorrow so we can knock them out the following week but for now i'm going to bask in the warmth of their utter dismay. Most of them deserve it. Especially that knob Springchoke and his goofy sidekick jmorg1. Eat sh*t.

Karma. Plain and simple.

Feared it was a possibility and lo and behold the oesophagus was well and truly closed - going by the prerequisites set by my colleagues.

I tried to fax the football gods my resume prior to first bounce ("See fellas, it wasn't me!" - deetee) but to no avail.

As much as most of us would have enjoyed seeing the shoe on the other foot tonight, we just have to hope that our players aren't as distracted by the Crows loss as we all are.

It is pointless even thinking about next week, because if we don't have our minds 110% on the job against the Roos we will be a bigger laughing stock, because they will massacre us.

You can't be anything but motivated to win a game of football for the right reasons. And those reasons tomorrow are because it keeps our dream of the flag alive, not because we can inflict pain on the Crows if we win the week after.

I would have really preferred for our game to be played before the Crows was, because I think there might be some of our guys who take their eye off the ball thinking about what might be next week........and if they do, there won't be a next week.

Mates you can hardly call that a choke...

Karmas a bitch isnt it. Every Crow supporter under the sun loved to dig the boots into us when we lost against Collingwood and Sydney. Now you get to deal with it.

Oh how I hope we beat the bloody Kangaroos tomorrow.

I get where you are coming from, but im of a different train of thought. What more motivation can you get for an interstate final? Our Captain goes down with possibly a career ending injury, and we get a Semi Final at our home ground if we win this week. If they arent bloody motivated after tonight, knowing they will get an AAMI final if they win, then they will never be.

Yeah but youre a Port supporter dyertribe...you dont count ;)

But seriously, a lot of Crows supporters had the time of their lives having a go at us...many still go on about it...now its time for them to feel the pain. I have sympathy for those that didnt act like a total ******** to me when Port stuffed their chances, but I hold no sympathy for those that enjoyed our losses more than the Crows victories.

I wonder where eddie eagle is right now

You are right there Macca on all points. :)

Make while the sun shines but there is still the Kangaroos to get over first before you face us.

As most of you guys have seemed to have forgot.

haha ok I've seen you mention this all over the place so I'll explain it to you.....

He meant that it gives him added motivation, not the beginning of some, do you follow me? Are you sure?? Doh!

Crows choked.... your point? Port did for a number of years before they eventually won the flag..

Doh to you too dud. So what you're saying is, he isn't up 100% simply because it's an elimination final. Because, unless you learned maths differently to me, 100% is as much as it gets. So he's up what, 75-80%, that's all you really need for an elimination final. Oh look Chad Cornes said something that's mean if I read it the right way. Now I'm motivated 85-90% ... ooooh what else can I find to spark me up. Maybe Laidley can put a keg on after the game to provide more motivation.

And I haven't forgotten the arrogant hypocrite Simpson spruiking before last year's finals series how much he'd like to play Port Adelaide in the finals series - and North weren't even good enough to make it. Now that's disrespecting your opposition.

May have been said in jest but hell yeh, it would work for me!

Have to admit I enjoyed watching the Saints get home last night (they're a lock for the flag IMO).

But I'd enjoy a win over the Kangas today 1000 times more!

Noones forgotten, just like im sure Crows supporters didnt forget they still had a game to play the day after Port lost to Collingwood in 2002 - which the Crows lost by 70 something points.

If anything, its the exact opposite Nodster. I cant bloody wait for the game to start today.

I said to my father, IF the Crows did lose last night that I can picture someone editing the photo of Choco and putting N.G's head on it... and what ya know... Pred comes up with it ...You are like the port version of dyertribe... or is dyertribe the port version?...anyways Pred nice one ;)

Although I wont be having a go at them... just yet... I'll point and laugh later on.

But many are right that no one waited until their teams had one befor esinking in the boots.. what goes around comes around..... :thumbsu:
