Thoroughbred, Played alot of football with Muddy at Melton and even against him in the earlier days when he was at Gisborne he was a hard at it player and never shirked an issue. I would imagine he would still be the same, as for your mates saying that he was scared of playing against sunbury u couldn't be more wrong, I remember a player for Sunbury by the name of Lubson, u may of heard of him. Muddy and Lubson were going toe to toe Lubson left the ground rather groggy and all over the place. So u gutless wimps sitting behind your computers (with the doors locked in the house I might add) say it face to face dont be so gutless. As for c/Linton a hope they sh$t the flag in and stick it right up all the knockers what more motivation does a rather powerful and proud club need coming close to the business end of the year??

It will be interesting to see if Coon, Allen and Ingram get clearances, its hard to see why C/L would clear them.

Heard they objected to the C/L coaches actions at their recent Rokewood game and don't want to be associated with such people.

Thats true with the likes of Ladiges, Waters, Clarke etc. And even playing the likes of Brodie Doolan who played quite a good game against Natte and he is a current Junior.

mate carngham will hopefully never have to go through what the eagles are going through because they are a better run club than ararat, and as cosican said they do have youth coming through their ranks, and i dont know where your getting "hitting the kids" from maybe that tag should be handballed to natte or jardine

Are you confusing Jardine with Digger Bodie or Robbie Waters and Natte with Carngham Linton?

Comimg back into the eagles club this year, there are two teams who I could single out that have targeted our kids BIG time. But thats football, and I can honestly say that c/l are not in that two teams. Lets stop bagging these guys and start discussing football. As for you BEATON5 just worry bout getting on the park for your H.D.F.L. and stop bagging teams that you dont play against!!!

Orion 21, I watched your boys play Lexton at the weekend, there are some positives for you, your team really lacks a Power Forward if you you can recruit well next year you could be alright, also hows the young blonde Kid (Number 1 I think) he got fairly well belted and looked to be in a bad way when he come from the ground?.

Thanks for the info He looks like he can play a bit. Theres a lot of talk about C/Linton on this page and none of it seems to be positive, but you cant go past the facts, they have been and will continue to be a power in the LPFL, success breads success and as long as they remain near the top and they have $$$$$$ they will stay there.

you are right crazy 88, all the natte boys seem to is bag carngham, i think Mcnamee (Dont Argue) should worry about getting his own side on the right path, raving on about all these players i used to play for carngham and still hear a lot about what goes on down there and i can tell u Porter is back on the track and Head will definatly qualify for finals, so with those two additions and the five they had out saturday i think natte have a long way to go, all i can say is if the saints can sneak into top 3 wich i think will come down to the natte, illabrook game at the end of the year, they will play a big part

I think all the banter between natte and C/L is great. It what makes this thread a good read. Both teams now have a great rivalry due to what has gone on in the past. Whenever the two teams now play it is a great spectacle with every player trying that bit harder. I think your right about recruits OSB as when games are on the line and players need to stand up (back into a pack, make a smother) recruits have little pride in the jumper and it is usually your locals who stand up.

He picks out the smallest and youngest player in the side and trys to crush them usually by sitting or lying on top of his prey a bit like what a Python would to a mouse. I don't know how he's got away with it on so many occasions without being reported actually. I did see him get a little bit of his medicine back on his chin once by someone his own size. He did nothing and ran like a little school girl to the interchange bench.

It's not just Natte and CL. It's every team in the league and CL.

I've been to 1 Grand Final with CL involved and it is pretty amusing because the whole crowd is against them.

I'm yet to see a crowd more into a game than the first year of the LPFL with Navarre ran over the unbeaten CL at Dunolly.

From what I've seen, he does not know how to use his size to his advantage. Porter is much better at it than Jardine.

Its been a while since I've looked at this page and with no surprise people are still on about Carngham/Linton. It still amazes me how people play there when most of their players are recruited from Langi Kal Kal. Face it, the boys from Skipton are out and out Premiers for 2007. I cant see anyone beating them. Plus they are the best side to play against if your wanting to be friends with another team.
