You sold the farm for Kelly yes or no?
2 late firsts and a shuffling of late picks isn't what I'd consider 'selling the farm' for a bloke who came third in the Brownlow, no.

Especially considering where those players who went at those picks ended up.

Yet you reckon 2 1sts and 2 2nds for both Taranto and Hopper in total was selling the farm.
And you question our GM.

Well, Hopper's permanently injured and anyone could tell your team was on the decline.

WCE topped up a bloke who almost won a Brownlow for a final shot at a flag, whilst Richmond brought in 2 blokes(one who has chronic injury issues) right when they should've been looking to start a rebuild instead.

If WCE did the Kelly trade in 2021, that'd be a whole different discussion.

you need to consider this on both sides.

Interesting how you saw our decline but not yours and it was fine you had one last roll of the dice but the team who actually performed beyond one season shouldnt have, take off the rose colored glasses old mate.

Love it how people form opinions in hindsight.
Dimma believed we had one more chance for a flag hence Taranto & Hopper.
Went pair shaped obviously.

The ‘first’ round picks weren’t the ones that hurt that trade. The pick 37 was, one before Chad Warner when who knows if we had that pick, If he was on our radar
That's easy too say in hindsight.
Today's form Warner would be top 5
