The Pinkser ticket seems either fake, or so inherently dodgy/untrustworthy that they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the club. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a front from Johnson to try and confuse people and split the votes of people wanting to vote for Lethal.
Almost beyond doubt.

We probably all agree with you, and thanks for your interest by the way.....but if this guy gets banned, then people such as yourself who wonder over here to see what is going on, don't get to see him for what he is....a fake and a piece of scum.

True...

I just respect the Lions as a football club. As a Dons fan I know full well what a great club they're capable of being, and I think this current administration is largely, if not completely, responsible for tarnishing it. Don't get the attitude of "only worry about your own club", if every club is strong then the AFL will be strong and everyone is better off. So I want to see Brisbane back on their feet, and FFS back in their proper jumper.

Plus there could be board trouble looming at Windy Hi...sorry, Tullamarine sometime soon, so it's interesting to see what unfolds here perhaps as a preview of what's to come for us.

From the outside it appears the current/Johnson ticket appear to be trying to cling to power, but have their track record and it's not a good one.

Then you've got Lethal's ticket which, as Luthor said, appears to be actually wanting to do the right thing by the club and for the club.

As a rule, I'm a sceptic when it comes to conspiracy theories but Pinksier is so obviously trying to "run interference" (++)that it makes me have serious concerns that it's a classic False Flag exercise endorsed by the establishment, either actively or tacitly.

The mysterious attainment of the email addresses for the entire membership base that Angus &co. tell us is being "viewed so seriously", is after two weeks, still....well....a mystery.

So many questions and so few answers.

Something stinks.

(++) apologies to Andrew Hamilton

Why has this Henry Pinkser twat not been banned? Either he's the real deal and he's an utter prat who's contributing nothing, or he's a troll. His existence here seems pointless.

I think he gets 12 hours to specifically and fully detail how, when and from whom he got all the email addresses or he gets banned.

Last chance Pinky! 12 hours. The clock is ticking. Man up!

If there's gonna be a vote, I'm voting:

1. RED Card

Or in parliamentary circles, let's apply the GAG.

I have been fairly neutral about the egm (I still haven't seen any arguments to convince me that Johnson is the boogey man) but this Pinskier crap makes me angry. It's unethical, it's dishonest, and it's an unwanted obstacle for the members to get what they want. It is hard to quantify just how much damage his unscrupulous practices are causing the club.

Pinksier, I would advise you to step back from the precipice. For your own professional well-being my advice to you is to cease and desist. Walk away from this board, walk away from your "beloved" Lions, and walk back to your office. You may well be doing unfathomable harm to your reputation if you choose to persist with this half-baked, make it up as you go, pseudo-political and unscrupulous agenda. Go forth and procreate my good man. With haste.

That's a good idea AFLQLD.

Henry Pinskier, this isn't a blog, and some engagement is required, lest the locals become restless. Or, uh, MORE restless. You've not really engaged with questions put to you in a meaningful way, and you know very well that they are coming across as non-answers and evasion. This means that you're not progressing the conversation, while also spamming the board, which breaks a couple of forum-wide rules.

I'm going to need you to start contributing in a meaningful way, or we are going to stop you from contributing.

Someone brought it up on the main board, but out of interest when is the last time an EGM was called for any club in the AFL?
That'd be me. Suddenly occurred to me that the Melb media aren't paying much attention, yet they should because, when was the last time an AFL club called an EGM...?

Geez Grim.....and to think I was just about to post that I thought you may have gone too far & enough is enough.

(Or is this another deflection.....hmmmm!)

Would have thought the world needs less of his type, not more.

Sun Tzu would not ban him, (if he was a mod)... but I think for his own sake he should walk away... there is little to be gained on this forum for him... in fact quite the contrary, don't know why he interloped in the first place..

Keep your enemies closer philosophy.

Mick Power and Paul Williams want to keep giving back to the Club too. Even though they axed Vossy and caused chaos. Enough is enough. Let Lynchy and Lethal get the board right without this weight in their saddlebags.

Leigh has stated he's with Mick Power and Paul Williams, else he'll walk. That's plain as batshit. Your "semi muddling" party line has been smacked out of the ground.

Rebel directors launch Lions challenge

The battle for control of the shattered Brisbane Lions took another step on Tuesday, with the Fresh Start team, led by breakaway directors Paul Williams and Mick Power and supported by former coach Leigh Matthews, launching its campaign to run the club's off-field operations.

The group, which will challenge chairman Angus Johnson at an extraordinary general meeting set for November 13, is promising to re-engage with the club's disaffected and dwindling supporter base.

Brisbane champion Alastair Lynch backs Leigh Matthews' Fresh Start boardroom push

LIONS legend Alastair Lynch has seen enough of his beloved club "hemorrhaging".

“For the last handful of years, I’ve had a lot of people asking me about the club which has been disappointing but the last couple of months have brought it to a head.

“I must admit I’ve been frustrated by the performances on the field which have deteriorated, we are haemorrhaging money, attendances are dropping and we are under-resourced in the football department.

“I’m just passionate about getting an enthusiastic board together to change the direction of the club.

“These people are passionate.’’

I see the comments on Henry's website have drifted to a level of quality not seen before. A fake Mick Power has appeared.

Top quality Henry. Classy.

Has anybody else noticed how freaking awesome the rebel ticket's platform is?

1. Bring down the Emperor.
2. An Ewok in every pot.
