Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

BigFooty does not guarantee ticket sales or swaps. It is entirely at your own risk, please make sure you trust the poster in question. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Just read a bit more into it.
The Collingwood premium membership costs $1200 a year and has a waiting list.
Some of those members aren't happy they got standing room/restricted view seats while lower ones got better seats.
From what I can see the seating is literally a ballot though surely they'll put the Lions members together.

You’d think they ballot them off by bays - one bay to Collingwood, one to Brisbane, etc.

otherwise it would be pretty unfair that theirs was drawn before our ballot, unless the allocation of seats per club in the same (ie. same “type”)

Just thinking back to last year’s GF, I vividly recall separate bays with a concentrated sea of red and white vs bays with blue and white. I’m positive they’ll clump us together.

Unfortunately the allocation ‘tool’ wouldn’t differentiate between a high level member and a low level member. Whilst I’m just happy to be going, if I end up in nosebleed as a foundation P1 member whilst someone with a 2 year membership who is a P2 ends up with mint seating I’ll be pretty pissed.

Wish we had at least a ballpark time frame so I could stop checking.

I think they are doing the AFL members sale from 11-1 so we might be after that. They’d run the ballots one by one you’d think

think i heard somewhere theres a 40 year wait to be a priority 1 member at carlton. not sure of the veracity of that statement though you would assume collingwood has a similarly long wait time if that is correct

So my brother in law just texted me - he’s a high level Collingwood member (Legends), he got a standing room ticket. His mate is a lower level member and got a category 1 seat. Seems there are some major issues.

I like it tbh. Could be rich or poor, you have equal access to tickets.

It’s terrible if you’re paying more for better access

Respectfully disagree Nunez.

Unless I misunderstand, where does it say you get access to the best seats? All I can remember seeing when paying for the September membership is you get a guaranteed grand final ticket, not a great seat.

Yep I see your point, however I do believe if you finance the club to the tune of more $ then you should get access to the better seats. But as I said in a previous post whatever tool Ticketek use wouldn’t differentiate such a thing.

Shoukd

Should be a seat though, not standing

And should be allocated before P2.

Apparently that is not happening with pies which presumably means it won’t happen with us which would not be a fair system

If i get a bad category fine thems the breaks. If i am standing room but a p2 has level 2 seats that’s just a stitch-up

Is it $448 without a surcharge/fees? Surely they won’t charge any…

Lol bruh there will definitely be surcharges
