Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

If by Lions members, then yes. But more than a few support other AFL teams, but live in Brisbane and have a Lions membership for this reason.

I was more saying hopefully all our 17,000 have gone so none were going back to collingwood.

There’s an MCC reserved seating sale on Ticketek at 9am Thursday (28th) for any handed back reserved seats. Try your hand there (you need the guest ticket barcode).
Otherwise there’s 7500 unreserved seats and 1000 standing available. 21 years ago queues from about 4am and got great seats. A lot of time has passed since then and things have changed (new stand!). You can expect to need to queue from between 4am and 6am latest would be my guess… but who knows how crazy Collingwood fans are! Once your seat is assigned you can leave again (they hand out cards).

It will be full MCC members and annual guest pass only. It does suggest it’s open only to members who were unsuccessful in the ballot.

Returned seats will be made available to members who were unsuccessful in the ballot on a first-in, first-served basis on-sale at 9.00am AEST on Thursday September 28.

Further information regarding this on sale will be communicated directly to members who were unsuccessful in the Reserved Seat Ballot via email.

Cockliff38: only other point is to make sure the owner of your guest pass has paid their 2023/24 membership fees. If it’s not paid, no GF entry.
