You're two weeks early.Haven't heard anything about this. Was anyone there? Who got inducted
A simply amazing night. Seriously, all my Melbourne bretheren should start saving up to make sure they make the next one NOW. Today. You don't need that extra coffee anyway, it's bad for you.
And all our Brisbane brethren should be saving up for the next one in Melbourne in two years.
Totally agree. The only question in my mind is whether it is a tad early and in that regard whether the events of last year played any part in the judges' thinking, consciously or otherwise.Just posted on the Fitzroy board links some of the articles, so I will post them here as well:

Good to see Chrissy Johnson inducted - my personal all time favourite player (and the last Fitzroy player in the AFL - giving rise to my name on here). Obviously the same goes for all the inductees, especially Roger Merrett who meant so much to the Bears.
Vossy is truely worthy of being a Lions legend. Defintiely one of our greatest ever.

I wasnt watching.a mayes ing scratching his/her head at that Darryl White induction
Do you think after last night we will be fired up for the big game against the bye this week?
Nope, appalling statement, to even state something like that just disparages how great this man was not only in getting QLDers to see Aussie Rules as a genuinely tough sport, but in helping some of the old Roy Boys to follow the Brisbane Lions. For him to come back from that broken leg & the mental scars that it would have created to not only still dominate on the footy field, but to also captain one of the greatest teams is a testament to how much of a legend he was. He was always going to be inducted as a legend ASAP.
I still truly believe if he hadn't have broken his leg and lost some of his blistering pace there wouldn't even be the "Voss, Hird or Buckley" discussion. It seems some people can't seperate Voss' coaching record and his remarkable playing career.

That was heart breaking.I don't think many people remember how bad his injury was. To come back from an injury like this (pic below if it works), to even play again (like Nathan Brown) is an accomplishment in itself. But to come back & have a stellar career & be a triple premiership captain (probably should have a Norm Smith too if votes weren't finalised at 3/4 time), is simply amazing.
