Notice the mention of "the closet"?
I *almost* used a different term, and then thought "no...these bigfooty types are more mature than that...'

Nah, not really. Just trying to spice things up around here.

Jorgo, I've still got your toothbrush. Just sayin'.

Err...if that's the one in my closet, it is a medium. Having said that, regardless, you'll be fine with medium.

I dropped by the shop from work and ordered a small. Still torn. Saving my receipt.

That's a medium? Cripes. Better get down the gym...

It's all above board folks. Bob's a real good poker player is all.

Well after I caught you doing what you were doing with it the last time you were over here I told you I didn't ever want to see it again...

So has anyone driven to go to the shop? I elected to collect mine (hopefully before game day) during work hours. Is there parking close by? Been a few years since my job involved driving around town & I've lost touch a bit with getting around that area.

If I was buying a 2009 Puma Guernsey today I'd be buying the same size as the Kooga one I ordered today if that helps. So it seems pretty similar in sizing to the old Puma ones (which is my last bought guernsey). Maybe a little on the "slimmer" size which means if a Puma size was a bit snug on you the Kooga might be a bit more snug.

If that makes sense (sorry I'm out of it this arvo)

I bought the Fitzroy Heritage guernsey last year and i think that was KooGa. I bought an L (I have an M '3-peat' guernsey that fits pretty well) and it fits me only if I haven't ate all day and I can't get it off once I've had a few beers.

Very snug that's for sure. I reckon if you are an L in t-shirts you should probably lean to XL in KooGa.

I agree, you need to be quite thin for the L to fit. I am XL by the way!

i just ordered one, didn't want it due to that ugly ass national storage logo, but i had to get it to support our jumper being changed

i'm a fan of the paddlepop, i just realized that the original was so much better

Hello Lions fans. It would be great if I could get some feedback for the following from Brisbane and Fitzroy followers.. I made these on the back of this decision, I would love to see them worn in 2014. I had contemplated putting the Fitzroy lettering (monogram, I think it's called) over the heart on the chest, but it looked too crowded.

I'd be very happy if this was the jumper the Lions wore for Victorian matches.

I'd either remove the Fitzroy monogram on all three jumpers or add the original Brisbane Bears monogram in. It is the Brisbane Bears-Fitzroy Football Club (trading as the Brisbane Lions), not the Fitzroy only Football Club. Ideally on the back above the numbers should read "BBFFC".

As for the rest of your top jumper, white should be changed into gold. For your middle jumper, the collar and cuffs should be changed into blue. As for your bottom design I'd make the top yoke maroon, along with the collar and cuffs, while removing the sidepanels and making the bottom yoke gold.

Pretty decent effort though. Those jumpers are a gazillion times better than the crap we have now.

As much as I do like all of the above designs (good job keeponheepingon :thumbsu: ), there's no chance the FFC monogram will be placed on our regular playing jumper (home or away), in my opinion. That's not meant to be offensive (as personally, I don't have a problem with it), but it just won't happen. I'm reminded of the one lady I surveyed who was literally yelling at me "NOTHING FITZROY RELATED ON OUR JUMPER!" as she filled in the survey form. In discussions with Holmes, the club definitely knows that just like their are passionate Roys, there's passionate (and protective) Bears supporters too. The only options would be BBFFC, the Fitzroy Lion, or even the paddlepop.

In that Bulldogs game last year when you wore the Fitzroy fauxback guernsey, I thought the colour combination of maroon, blue and white was great. It looked slick and modern while retaining a strong sense of tradition. And, as much as I love and respect the gold that was made famous by 01/02/03, I think having white would really separate you from the Gold Coast (though that's for another discussion). It's also worth noting that the Bears wore white from 92-96.
