Nothing probably - Reckon he is a likely delisting even if Scarlett retires
- Wont be delisted, maybe be traded depending on how many retirements we have

Would like the Hawks to have a good look at Lucas, Silvagni, Stevens and Martin
So what would Hawthorn be prepared to give to get Gillies - 2nd Round?
With Lucas being contracted for next year what would Hawthorn offer for him?
Didn't you guys offer a 2nd round pick only last year for him? I wouldn't think the Cats would delist him after knocking that back.
Very much agreed and I don't expect him to be going anywhere unless the deal was too good to knock back.Still think Lucas is a required player at the Blues. His first season was fantastic. Confidence is shot.
Chance Bateman is going to retire at Seasons end, Osborne just signed a 1 year contract extension. Not sure where the OP got his info regarding those two playing for GWS?
These are the players that i would be interested for Hawthorn to pursue.

I am very confident that neither boak nor caddy will end up at north next year. Not trying to be inflammatory just have pretty solid mail.Posted this on the roos board:
Roos are chasing Boak heavily, but if that doesn't come up we have had talks to Caddy's management and they believe they can get a deal done.
also Chris Knights is keen on a move to North because of our fitness coach Steve Saunders...Knights got work done by Steve when he had all those hamstring problems a few years back...

Fair point. That's fair enough too. Just because we chasing them hard doesn't mean they will be in Roos colours next year.
I think boak will be a cat and I think Caddy will be a don or demon. Doesn't me the food was actively chase after them!
You never know they could trade a Player like Monfries or Gumbleton out then on trade the pick to GC.
Or a their 2nd rounder and solid player for Caddy.
Or a third party could be involved...
First pick which would be early 20's I think. Unless the Bombers are looking for a certain playerWhat would hawks give up for Pears?

I could see him being traded, but he's not getting us anything in that sort of class.Monfries is a free agent BTW, unlikely to be a trade getting them picks there.

You've jumped from A to about Q there. So you guys are going to re-sign him (assuming no one else makes a significant play for him) and then trade him if needs be? I guess it's possible, but a bit of a headscratcher if it does occur given the club he'd be heading to obviously didn't rate him enough to poach him successfully.

He might move, he might not. I have no idea.
If he goes as a FA, we'd probably get a second rounder - if we really want to move him as a trade, we'd probably get a second rounder. Wouldn't be earth-moving stuff either way.
Yeah I guess that's all so, dlanod
To me, all it points to is they haven't quite worked out where he fits in; and (if he were to walk) wouldn't be massively bothered.
