That is one of my exact setups, though I should add that my internet connection is fibre to the home. The other setup I use is through a Samsung TV, also connected via ethernet. I very rarely have any buffering or drop outs on either setup, full HD picture, the works.

I've had Kayo since the beta launch on day one on Apple TV and it was good enough even back then to convince me to ditch Foxtel. I haven't looked back since, and have taken advantage of a variety of Kayo offers over the journey to make it even better value for money. The current $5/month deal is an absolute steal. The Apple TV app is also very stable in comparison to the Samsung TV, which is perfectly usable but can be a little janky at times. Apple is super easy to use, nice and smooth, and much easier to skip forwards or backwards.
thanks for this. i rang foxtel today and they didnt put up a fight, took 5 mins and i have my discount extended for 6 months (paying $41 for everything other than movie channels, HD, IQ4) so this plan B waits for another 6 months ....

This is not smart from Kayo, if they keep doing stuff like this they wind up like Foxtel. Foxtel is always discounted in some way so over time they have convinced their market that the product is not worth the price they charge.

They have had various discounts for years.

Sony TV purchases threw in 12 months.

Beteasy had 3 months free.

Countless. Nothing new.

Good old Delayo. Consistently 5 minutes behind the action

Bit of a bump but anyone having issues with KAYO? Mine won’t play any footy at all (VFL, AFL, NRL) but does other sports like NBA and bloody volleyball.

So frustrating

Had some buffering issues this weekend which is unusual but otherwise works fine. Are you on the latest versions of Kayo and the host platform? That tends to fix any issues I get with it - aside from all the ****ing ads.

After some much worded advice to Kayo, it’s back working

what was the root of the problem ? just for others' info.

Weird that it worked for you for other sports and not footy

(myself I've noticed more stutters, drop outs, shitty resolutions during live games, my guess is there must have been a surge in signups. It was ALWAYS PERFECT say half a dozen rounds into the season...after that, it turned to shit, if this is the new norm, they won't be getting my money, I'll use dark methods).

Mine has been buffering like mad this weekend, infuriating stuff lads
yeah previously, I could jump anywhere on the timeline willy nilly...and it jumps there instantly, straight into 1080p.

Now during a live game, just random stutters...drop to shit rez...and often hangs so you'd have to abandon the game, get back into the game to "live" mode.

Not Fking happy Jan...

OK, so I’m with Foxtel. Basic package, sports and HD for $68. Telstra customer so want to take advantage of $5 a month Kayo and ditch Foxtel sports. Advice?

Call foxtel and threaten to leave. If they say ok then go. If they offer you a deal (say what you have now for $45 or something) take it
