yeah mark is a good player, if his knee holds out he will be a key player with north shore. was their number 1 ruckman b4 he did his knee and can play forward and kick goals. kicked 8 in a 2s game couple years back but that was against st.albans. dont expect big things from him this season, coz coming back from serious knee injury and hasnt played for 18 months. will probably take 4 or 5 games (maybe more) just to get back into the swing of things. is starting the year in the 2s and will go from there...

Heard Ocean Grove had their first intraclub praccy match last Thurs. Any reports on how they are looking. With Libba and Rocky gone who is going to fill the void?

I've been involved with GFL on a Saturday for the past 10 years and i've never heard of him. If he's that good and been kicking bags it certainly hasn't been in the GFL seniors.

he was playing 1s at north shore when wade chapman was coach and played mainly ruck. did his knee badly 18 months ago and hasnt played since, so will take some time to get back into it provided his knee holds up. originally played at modewarre...

Modda play Timboon sat in a prac match at Timboon. By all reports have had like 2 or 3 intra allready must be fit this year, Maybe on the rise this year and could surprise a few.

Who won and what by

wiseoldman could you maybe for once add something productive and imformative to this site or the big cricket site? Maybe you should turn those video camera's off that you have facing your next door neighbours house and get out to some local footy this year, then maybe we could hear something interesting from you instead of the mindless dribble your normally bring to this table.

Anybody have results from gfl games? Geelong Ammos over South Barwon i heard, Lara? Colac? St Marys? Newtown? Leopold?

It's going to be a tight season in my opinion, well from second top about 7th anyway. I'm thinking Ammos in a canter again, with Queenscliff, Modda and Newcomb filling the bottom three spots. As for the remaining four spots in the finals, that is anyones guess.

Barwon Heads lost to Oak Park
Ocean Grove played Newtown. Who won?
Did anyone see Ammos play. Good effort to beat Sth Barwon
Drysdale and Ammos to be strong. Heard Angelsea had poor numbers at training up until a few weeks ago.
Any news from Tiger land? Saw on Geelong Footy site they were looking for a praccy match last weekend

interesting results over the weekend.

who are the teams that have recruited well in the off season?

should be a good 2009 for the bfl.
