Yep. That would not surprise me at all. The poor old Saints have trouble pulling big players to the club. I hope that they can scratch 1/2 dozen or more wins together in '09.
i'll be very surprised if st albans don't win six or more games this year they have picked up about six quality recruits from the info i have heard

Have any off you herd about boofa heading back to nth shore

I use to work with the bloke at shell have heard his 80% chance of playing at north shore A very big loss if this is correct as he is the type of player who every team fears Lets hope he doesnt play against the tigers

Not too sure about that. Have you spoken to Street? Trained superbly on Wednesday, hasn't missed a training session and is settling in well by all reports...

Time will tell I guess.

Hennenman signed yet?

no hennenman is not playing with us. he came down 2 watch us train but is staying in melbourne. he was after way 2 much. we have a new ruckman/chf he was drafted by the tigers in the 90's but never played seniors that is all i am giving away. things r on the way up out at lara.:)

i reckon its a good effort to get a mention in the paper haha i cant believe they quoted bigfooty!

They have done it a couple of times now, once was with a GCA cricket story...me thinks we have a journo lurker in our midst...:D

the addy will have 2 start paying me 4 footy stories. after i said about hennenman training with us it was in the addy a few days later. after the street story (even no it was incorrect) it in the addy and about our new recruit from the tigers it's in the addy a few days later

Good on the Addy i say. At least they're attributing the base of the information to a source.

News forums are thriving with rumours and information driven by many people who have access to inside inner sanctum news.

Journalists would be derelict in their duty not to browse over these pages frequently to see what developments are taking place.

Wait, so you are bigging yourself up even though u clearly posted a completely false, crap rumour? Interesting...

for anybody who is interested football geelong have released on their website a list of all the clearances as of feb 23. it can be found on their website. cheers

Who will be the Major improver up the table and the biggest faller down the ladder in GFL & BFL?

I'll go with St Albans up & Grovedale to fall to bottom two.

Drysdale to push for minor premiership & maybe Ammos to be not as dominant.

I would be interested in why you think that St.Albans will improve.
Where will the improvement come from?

The recruitment of Simon Potter & Leigh Niklaus will have a huge impact, also they'll have Marc Dragicevic for a full season.
Other recruits include Renwick Watts, Aaron Nawrocki and Shayne Moles who will all play their part in lifting St Albans up the ladder, I felt last season they were competitive in most games for 3/4, they seem to fall away for 20-30 mins a game which cost them.
I put that down to not having key position players which they seem to of sourced for the coming season.
They'll be a more competitive side this year IMO.

PRACTICE MATCH
