Haha.. welcome back DC! Mate dont know what happened really. Accountability was questioned, disposal was pretty bad, lack of forward pressure... a lot of contributing factors. North Shore did play well though and really got going after half time.

With Greavesy, I think he re-injured his finger but not as bad. Probably play this week if there is no major damage.

Ressies game got a bit firey there DC! Couple of yellow cards!

Yeah mate, good game though, the standard was second to none. How was sticko's celebration!!! And by the way he didnt get home from town from after the game till 7:30 this mornin

I think he was a bit embarrased by his celebrations but they were pretty good goals. Both snaps from the pocket... He is a bit of a machine when it comes to drinking Sticko! Looks like an over sized 12 year old with his hair cut and clean shave!

Hotnews, I told u all along that they had lost a heap of cattle, but u didnt believe me. They have lost at least 8 key senior players from last year, and havent really replaced them at all. Add to that the 2 coaches being injured/past it, and it was always going to be a lean year. Now do u believe me?:D

Off the top of my head Durran, S.Albon, Ash, O'Brien, Plowman, Hughes, Tim Lord and Milsome were all regular senior players last year and have since retired/moved on. Add to that a number of reserves players leaving to play senior footy elsewhere (Forrest, North Geelong) which reduces depth.
 
I have heard a whisper about an unusual punishment for the Modewarre players in the rooms after their loss to newcomb on the weekend, has anybody else heard about this?

Not happy that they got my name wrong again! I didn't think my first celebration was over the top at all! As for the 2nd one yeah maybe 11 high 5's was a bit to much. Have to try get footage of that but it was such a big sense of relief to get my first ever seniors win. Pretty rough 3rd quarter for you Whispers. Who you guys got this week?

Well done to St Albans on the weekend. Anyone know anything about this guy who kicked 7 and this guy who was BOG for them McFarlane or something?

Thats what i heard too, thats just plain ordinary, a real way to earn the respect of the players...:rolleyes:
 
from what i heard that is 100 per cent true about the modda coach. apparently the other coaches were getting worried when the players were stripping thinking the players were gonna be made enter the clubrooms naked to humiliate them in front of their supporters. surely davis has crossed the line and the question must b asked could it be sexual harrasment cos a few players said there was no way they would do it but were pretty much told it would be against the team not to do it. suprised the addy hasn't reported on this, IMO its a pretty big scoop. .

Michael Macfarlane. Big Unit! Moves well too. Fmr GWSP player 4 years ago but been overseas. Very good pick up for them. Can take a good grab at CHF too.

This is certainly true, heard this from one of the players the coach ended up with a blood blister on his ass

What a joke, if this is true he should be stood down right away. He must have some skeletons in the closet or something but that is just not on.

Im surprised no-one smacked him in the mouth he wouldnt make me do something as stupoid as that, i know i would be putting in a clearance i couldnt play under a ****, thats a descrace sack him straight away before everyone leaves

If i had a coach who told me to do that i would tell him where to go and put in a clearence to anywhere the next day. What a disgrace. How can the players respect a coach who does that to them.

The question is did any players actually partake in the a rse slapping.

Yeah Dean certainly can play, throughout preseason he won almost everything that we did, maybe just taking some time to get used to GFL. Only a matter of time im sure. Must say though, congrats to West, both reserves and seniors will cause problems this year
