Autopsy Loss to Sydney - quite literally no words will adequately sum this up

I was actually thinking about that inc

Yeah out of common decency they probably should. But the interchange official will get a big pat on the back by the AFL and its whores in the media for following the rules. And the interchange stewards union will have a nice old laugh as they finally got their ‘gotcha‘ moment.
You would think commonsense would dictate that the interchange steward would have said you can’t make the change you are at the cap, especially since they have to approve they are notified of the players interchanging.

Also if it comes out that the free kick was delayed and only paid when inside Sydney’s 50 pretty much sums up how shonky the AFL is when it comes to integrity.

So on Fox Footy they just said the infringement happened 40 seconds before the free kick was awarded. The free kick is given at the next available stop in play. So isn't it a free kick and 50 from the interchange gate rather than from wherever the ball happens to be 40 seconds later?
What a farce. So if there is no stop in play then the free kick isn’t awarded?

The played should be stoped at the time of infringement not the next stop play.

Looking at the vision it happened after the Heeney goal, so it should have been a free and 50 from the centre bounce.

Not only have they waited to give them a shot on the goal line, but they have deprived us of time to score by letting play continue and then awarding a free kick.

What a farce.

Also what is farcical is the Dane Rampe was the one alerting the interchange official, how does he have a count to know that quickly.

Stinks all round the way this played out.

I'm just saying it's not hard to count your interchanges.
Stop relying to me. You’re a miserable campaigner that lurks around this site like a seedy campaigner in a stained trenchcoat wherever there is delight to be taken in misery. I don’t like you, although your life is obviously lacking in important ways. Now get the **** off our board and please don’t talk to me again.

Yep. Right after the cheapest of cheap shots. Umps would find a 50m penalty for any player we did this to. JZ copped one mere weeks ago for being .2 secs off the play. This clown makes no attempt at the ball and it's just a free. The umps were absolutely s**t all day.
To cap off that shit sandwich, they paid the mark instead of a free kick. Can’t believe it wasn’t 50.

Atrocious.

Look at the positives guys, your young guys looked bloody incredible and this result gets you one step closer to Harley! So it’s not all bad. You might be thanking the umpires at the end of the year if you finish last on percentage alone.

Surely that can't be the rule... what would happen if play continued uninterrupted until the end of the game? No penalty - that makes no sense at all. Crazy.

It’s actually the rule . Penalty for interchange breach is free kick and 50. The umpires had no option.
Surely a free kick suffices. I bet they change the rule to be just that not that it well help us.

Wait that doesn’t make sense?

If the game was free flowing for the last 1.5 minutes with no stopping play, would it have gone unpunished?

It was a clear mistake by the person at the club who can't count from 5 down to zero. You are warned by the AFL, repeatedly, as you drop down 10 or under.

I think when you get the last 5 warning, you better be 100% sure when you put someone else on the ground. It is just too costly a mistake to make.

We've had 6-6-6 for nearly 5 years and teams infringe that almost every game and it's just a warning. We've had the 75 interchange cap for a couple and no one's ever infringed that and it's automatic free plus a 50m.

Makes sense.
Would make even more sense if it was Brad Scott who wrote the rule during his tenure with the AFL 🙄

I hope Aaron Hall never gets another f***** game, was piss weak in that last quarter

Got me ****ed why the interchange stewards wouldn’t just tell us we are at our limit and no more interchanges allowed surely that’s not to hard. That should be the punishment no more interchanges.
The last 2 happened at virtually the same instant
