WowStill have lots of soft outsiders, won't make the 8, forward line is insect like.
Correct but Jong is not skinny, he is very strong and builtDon't look soft to me, even skinny blokes like Jong are having a crack. There softest player left to join another club end of last year.
Not to mention the bad umpire calls against you're clubI didn't think Beveridge was even in the mix for our coaching job when Watters was appointed but we did appoint him as a senior assistant to Richardson this year until the Dogs poached him.
Anyway Richardson had us flying at about this stage last season after wins over Melbourne, GWS and Essendon. Everyone was hailing him as the new coaching messiah but then injuries hit us hard and the wheels fell off with only one more win for the season so a bit early to be hailing Beveridge as the new coaching messiah.
For sure will , look good alsoFootscray
GWS
Melbourne
These 3 teams (and note not Gold Coast) could be the big teams over the next decade. All look very good.
My reference is where he lives today.
forgot jong mateLiberatore, Bontempelli, Macrae, Wallis, Dahlhaus is the foundations of a very good midfield
The Beveridge reference wasn't though.
Someone posted that Beveridge was a good East Bentleigh boy. I added that Hardwick was also (lived today) a good East Bentleigh lad.
Not sure what you are referring to.
Midfields aren't built around guys like Jong thoughforgot jong mate
Before you brought up Hardwick there was never any mention of where Beveridge lives now so your original post implied Hardwick grew up in the same area as Beveridge.
I grew up in Wantirna and currently live in Ashwood. You would probably refer to me as an Ashwood lad, which I clearly am not.
If the same Port fan hassled Bevo the same way he did to Clarko he'd still be on the floor.Wow, what an absolutely brilliant appointment by the Doggies, instilled a toughness and pressure into a (previously) talented, but somewhat timid playing group ..
I know the Dogs copped some heat for sacking McCartney and their off-field turmoil last season, but they look like such a rejuvenated footy club.
Congrats Dogs fans, you're on a winner with 'The Drink' as your new coach
They're a bunch of kids and alot of fans once Libba went down would have thought definitely bottom 4.Still have lots of soft outsiders, won't make the 8, forward line is insect like.
Not surprising that he is doing so well.
Was very highly rated at Hawthorn.

Was he? Watters, McKenna, Neeld..Mick was successful at turning assistants into senior coaches
Clarkson has now done the same with Beveridge, Hardwick, Simpson, Leon Cameron and some extent Bolton. Think Ratten has another chance of senior coaching in the future?
Yep BentleighSomeone posted that Beveridge was a good East Bentleigh boy. I added that Hardwick was also (lived today) a good East Bentleigh lad.
