Luke Sayers - PWC Scandal

Well 2 others here support the veracity of my claim

Not saying I don't believe you, I find it really strange

Anyhow I want him out as Chair Person of the Carlton Footy Club, not just for reasons listed in the OP (which are very damning and impossible to defend by itself)

Fair enough
I’m not a fan of politicians running clubs myself. They tend to run on ego and that never ends up well for anyone.

No it wasn't. It was a policy that was intended to hurt those in the community who are already doing it toughest. If they were ever serious about budget repair they would have gone with serious tax reform and squeezed those 1%ers a bit. This was 100% punching down.
Mate it was just about trying to recover over payment of welfare from people who weren’t otherwise providing information for them to make an assessment. The intent was fine. The execution was terrible.

As much of a s**t show as robodebt was, it still started as a policy with good intent

This PWC saga is the 1%ers using their privileged position to rip off the country and also gain themselves a market advantage
Are you serious???

Has the AFL said anything about Sayers? Or are they just going to hide under the bed and hope it all goes away? Like the way they deal with every other scandal until it grabs them by the scruff of the neck and they can't ignore it any longer?

Recovery programs already existed within the Department of Human Services, along with ongoing analysis of these programs by the Department of Social Services, so there was zero need for Robodebt. They knew of the risks from very early on. They chose to proceed and very openly demonised people during the its existence because they believed it earned them good political capital.

Worth noting that PwC were in Robodebt up to their necks.

Do your own research, eg check out the royal commission, I can't be bothered going there, disgusting episode, makes me really sick
I have. I’m missing nothing. The royal commission is all about the execution not the intent. They are two different things.

Anyway this is for the politics board.

Yes take it over there, I don't want to talk about that "well-intentioned" cesspit of filth, been done to death, you couldn't be more wrong The Robodebt Royal Commission

Yes
And where confidentiality documents would have been signed by PwC with government
Doesn’t appear collins or anyone signed individual ndas / it was covered under pwcs msa so while the internal emails aren’t great the main problem is marketing it others which all of the 50 were basically knowingly breaking confidentiality. Certainly more to play out. Would be surprised if Sayers doesn’t get hauled up in front of some investigation.

"The confidential information was subject to Commonwealth Confidentiality Acknowledgements (CA) signed by Mr Collins on 11 December 2013, 15 April 2016 and 19 February 2018 and which specified that the information and related documents were provided on a confidential basis and could not be disclosed to another person without the prior approval of the Commonwealth."

Interesting. Well that makes it less bad for the 50 others I guess.

Sayers should already be in prison for taking bribes from Friedenburg

Probably a bit earlier. Its like the tide slowly and menacingly going out before massive tidal wave……
