How can you break someone's cheek in a spoil attempt and not get pinged? I've got no doubt it was accidental but the fact remains that he has whacked a bloke in the side of the head and put him out of action for a month.

No penalty = what a joke...

How can you break someone's cheekbone by hitting the back of their head? Lynch didnt break his cheekbone, the cheekbone was broken because your wannabee Llyod failed "his how to milk a free 101". He missed that lesson on not landing on your elbow while holding your face.

He broke his own cheekbone. Deserves it too. Should be a lesson to all fakers outthere

What he said, except that it wouldn't surprise me if it was deliberate. The tribunal are setting a bad precedent here. It is now OK to hit someone in the head while looking somewhere else!

ohh pie supporters wake up ! lynch was never going to get weeks for that ,eyes only for the ball, infact should never have been cited. you boys realy need to get over your inferority complex about the lions and get on with the season before its all over. your only win was against the doggies and you were bloody lucky to win that one stop bleeting and get over it !! at least lynch wasnt stupid enough to do it in the finals !!!

Lynch had no chance of reaching the ball. At best it was a well disguised make him earn type of spoil.

Unsurprised by the descion. Brisbane are the protected species, poor little northers, they and their supporters are such fickle and fragile things, they need to nutured and given all the breaks.

They arnt tough or good enough to stand on their own foot, protect them, extend them every favour for they are strugggling in their hostile climate. Heaven forbid, if they players get treated and paid like everyone else they would be jumping ship, if the mighty brisbane bears were to finsh outside the top 4 their supporters would rip up their memebership and the future of football in the hostile north woul be in jepardary for generations.

True they have won the last three falgs but that was by suprerhuman commitment of the players and just unquestionable superlative management of the club, people down south just dont understand just how fragile all that sucess is. Consistant treatment with the rest of the lague would NOT drag the mightly brisbane bears back to the rest of theleague, it would devaste and destory all football in thenorth for generations, the betterment of the league and unborn football fans everywhere the poor little fragile bears must be carefully nutiured, as the very surivial of australian rules football north of murray would be shattered beyond any hope if playing field was fair.

The loyalty of brisbane fans is asouunding considering the thin knifeedge exsistance that all football north of the murray walks. Truely amazing when you consider many of them recently gone through the tragic loss of their former club, it would be heartless and cruel to expose such fans to the rough and tumble of supporting a club that could well finsh below 5th. These amazing loyal fans , truely lion hearted fans have been through living hell, their club cruely finished off by the evil AFL , gutted , desroyed and all moveable chattels handed off to some cunning AFL love child, who evilly stole the rings off barely cold dead.

Bleat Bleat Bleat Bleat

..and the chip on the shoulder grows bigger by the minute.

The central issue was that it was only a Collingwood player.

Also, this family seems to suffer from a congenital weakness in the jaw area.

Yes, then missed the next half and underwent surgery. Whats your point?
Which part of my point didn't you get? Wakelin was obviously not hurt by Lynch's spoil (perhaps Rocca sniped him at half time?).

Fairly obvious I thought. Perhaps I should use smaller words?

Whatever, royboy, commiserations on the dead club.

Thanks. A bit late with the commisserations, but if you're as slow your posts indicate, then I guess we can also allow you a bit of time for these things to sink in.

You're obviously not over it, so I was just extending a friendly gesture. The Fitzroy Football Club is gone. Dead and buried. Never to return.

Hey I've got a splendid idea! Jump on the Brisbane bandwagon and make believe that they're the same club!

Accidently take steroids.
Accidently break someones cheek.
Lynch sure is accident prone. I suppose every player now can get off by claiming it was only an accident.

LOL. What makes you say that? I never even mentioned it here. Therefore seeing as you brought it up, it would seem to me that you are the one with whom it is an issue.

In this regard, I take it that you were merely dredging up old territory for a cheap shot regarding an easy target. I guess times are tough, at the moment Victoria Park, if you have to resort to slinging shots at Fitzroy?

Then again, considering you're the master of saying a lot without saying anything at all (and what you do say is comprised normally of baseless innuendo), your response doesn't surprise me.
