Max Lynch- does he get tapped on the shoulder?

Said the same about McCartin - AFL need to step in if the player isn't retiring himself.

Glad to see Lynch already pivoting to coaching. Hope he makes a real go of it!
He's also studying a Bachelor of Education by the looks of it.

Since his injury he's still being showing up to Box Hill games to support his team mates.

I reckon he'll be great as a coach especially with his interest in teaching.

Never really had a chance. Hopefully he is comfortable with the decision.

Well it’s only a recommendation, one that he has taken on board. And seems to be quite positive overall, pivoting to coaching skills.

What’s the alternative? Risk serious brain damage. Don’t watch your kids grow up.

Sad news but also not because it’s only footy and he’s protecting his heath the best he can. Could have just had it all written off as a “migraine” too.

Writing was on the wall when he was no longer training and part of our AFLW coaching set up.

Hopefully gets a role in the club as he's very much loved internally.

Sad that he has had to retire for his own health and didn't get a full go at it.

The above demonstrates what is already known about his character - funny, upbeat, future focused and a real, genuine people person. His larrikinism and social media content has also been top notch.

Hopefully his internal mindset is reflective of his external hope and optimism.
