Lynch- Cleared

Just another joke concession for a team who does not need it and a player who does not deserve it with his history of dirty play.

The Tribunal just continues to amaze me with their level of ineptitude.

Tonight just sums up the absolute wackos who sit on that board....Crawford 1 week...what a joke...Lynch gets off but White gets a week for a fairy tap kick. Amazing.

Laughing stock of the league.

LOL. What makes you say that? I never even mentioned it here.

So you admit you're not over it, just that you don't want to talk about it. Painfull?

I guess times are tough, at the moment Victoria Park, if you have to resort to slinging shots at Fitzroy?

Victoria Park? Olympic Park is going very well indeed.

Obviously not well enough if you feel the need to resort to barbs about a team which you previously said had "died out" long ago.

Still, maybe that says more about 'Zeke' as a person, than it does about 'Collingwood' as a club.

Typical. Yet another anonymous hero who feels the need to resort to personal insults because he can't go the distance.

What insults were they? I was merely pointing out that it is possible to draw an observation relating to the content of your posts. In fact, I didn't even pass judgement on what those observations may or may not entail. A clear case of jumping at shadows.

As for not going the distance, this thread alone displays your ability for little more than cheap shots, as opposed to sustained and reasoned discussion of football issues. In fact, I think the above quotation sums you up perfectly.

lynch verdict

Last year the standard was if you missed the ball and solidly connected with the head you were suspended. I would like to see tham be more consistent.

Lynch had no intention what so ever of contacting the ball, he was trying to make him earn. he disgused it enough.

He is just one of those players who seem sto get a good run.

There was no doubt in my mind at any piont that he was going to get off. Another player would have gone.

Hey Stocka, leave the bad spelling to the experts. It's my idom.

Hey look, I'm sorry, alright! You can blame the dictionary I picked up whilst on the east side of Smith St. . . .

Can't you just see this little group of sour Collingwood supporters sitting around with tin foil hats on, complaining that the Brisbane Lions are trying to read their thoughts, so they can come up with new ways to torment them?

You guys have to grow up, seriously. I haven't heard this kind of whining since 3rd grade. The world is not conspiring against you boys, Lynch was just not guilty. The salary cap just makes the playing field a bit more level. White just didn't kick Lokan very hard, Cloke just hit whoever he hit a bit to hard, as did Rocca. Lynch only took what was required to overcome a serious condition. There is no great conspiracy here, you boys are all just bad sports, and really bad losers.

Please, stop dragging your other Magpie supporters down with you, because from these sorts of stupid arguments, everyone is going to assume that all Magpie supporters are just like you lot, bitter and sad.

Trouble is he seems to have a threepeat prescription.

As if its not enough we support this team into the competition, now our bloody taxes are supporting them through medicare

Football was the big loser.

Then why are YOU finding it necessary to act like an appalling loser? Sorry, Collingwood supporter. Should have realised, can't help yourself.

Have you any idea how pleased I am at your discomfort? If you hadn't posted, I wouldn't have known the pain you're enduring.

Thanks for sharing.

It was described as a glancing blow.

A glancing blow that broke a guys cheek-bone.

Odd that I have seen a bit of boxing and not many boxers get broken check-bones despite a full on pounding.

I do not care that he got off, I am sick of the inconsistency. Cloke's actions were described by the tribunnal as reckless but that their was no intent. Edwards was concussed with a broken nose, Wakelin concussed with a broken cheek-bone.

AFL is a farce of a sport where the head is fair game. No wonder the parents of Oz are lining up to let their kids play.

Hey royboy are you one of those fitzroy members who burned their membership after you let your club die and now have crawled out from under your rock to support Brisbane(not fitzroy)

Pinhead Collingcant supporters never cease to amaze at the level of stupidity and self rightousness they posses.

Fools like Zeke have a serious problem with their own life, so have got to the stage where they are mirroring the king pin, eddie's.

The amount of dribble that comes out of their mouths is unprecedented, and wake up oids, cause it won't change history.

When are you one eyed morons gonna realise that he didn't cause the injury???? he hit him in the back of the head, not the cheek. thats why he got off in just five minutes. Watch the front on replay if you dont believe me.

You're obviously not over it, so I was just extending a friendly gesture. The Fitzroy Football Club is gone. Dead and buried. Never to return.

Hey I've got a splendid idea! Jump on the Brisbane bandwagon and make believe that they're the same club!

Zeke, this is an ugly post and you bring the board down to a purile level which it does not deserve.

Collingwood lost a game, be mature and deal with it, because the endless whining and ugly accusations does not make that fact go away.

I heard no-one complainign in 98 when Mick Martyn smashed Aaron Keating in the face and wasn't even reported for it.

Tribunal is inconsistent - get over it.

God , Collingwood supporters whinge so much its not funny.

More whinging out of Victoria in three weeks than you get from the rest of the country in a decade.

How the hell did that name get past the censors???!!!
Maybe 'cause he is who he says he is. Get it?
Maybe if your president also identifies himself on this board rather than use other identities (pseudonyms)...

With a defense like that, it's no wonder Cloke got 2 weeks.

How can you break someone's cheek in a spoil attempt and not get pinged? I've got no doubt it was accidental but the fact remains that he has whacked a bloke in the side of the head and put him out of action for a month.

No penalty = what a joke...

Must have employed the same player advocate that Stafford did last year....

Given what happened after Spider had his cheek shattered 'by accident', why are you surprised?

Cloke's attack on Edwards was alot more severe than Lynch's, and Lynch was actually trying to puch the ball not the man in the head:mad:

absolute rubbish.

edwards broke his nose - a nothing injury.

wakelin's jaw was broken - far more severe.
