Don't know about Gary's, but Billy's marriage collapsed only about 6 months ago....he wouldn't have been over that yet, only to then find out Gary had got in there virtually straight away. A feeling of betrayal by his two most trusted people (wife and best mate) would be and is still very real.

Think about that when life and all it throws at us, finally reaches you....because right now you come across as a person devoid of life experiences and emotions..........cold actually, which is sad.

If you had read my previous posts in this thread you'd know that I have life experiences in spades - and on this particular topic. Go read them before you get on your moral high-horse. In this day and age, people aren't very enquiring about their own minds and the human condition. People operate on social norms and rash judgements. The quest for truth and self-knowledge is very rare. Why do I have to be a sheep and react with the same duplicated outrage that 90% of people are showing? Can I not examine it further and suggest that trotted-out lines that dominate this discussion like: "you can't do that", "unforgivable", "bros before hoes", etc etc. do not begin to describe the situation? People have egos, people are trained in this life to grow their egos, but you don't have to let your ego be the last word. You can learn to understand, accept and forgive things. I've forgiven a lot of crap in my life where if I hadn't put my ego aside, I would have been caught in a lifelong trap of anger and resentment.

But hey, don't feel sad for me, ok? I'm the happiest I've ever been. I've lived a pretty exciting life, traveled, lived overseas, I have the best partner and little girl in the world. You really don't need to feel sad for me. The reason life is good for me is because I processed the life experiences I had. Rather than react to Billy's experience with the knee-jerk immediacy of somebody freshly scorned, I react with the equanimity and circumspection of somebody who's been through this already, processed it, got real, and got over it. We are never blameless in our own plight.
