True, but the players need to think about the future of the game, if the general population can’t get invested in a club because of the player movement all the money will disappear at some point.

Given how poor our VFLW team is, this expansion is going to destroy us.

There needed to be a better way to introduce new clubs without completely destroying the clubs who were willing to be bold enough to go first.

The expansion has been far to fast.

The talent pool just isn't deep enough yet to keep adding clubs.

Not good for the clubs that first came in. And not good financially for the league as a whole.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Expansion should have been a much slower burn.

How can you expect any supporters to stick by a new team if players can't even stick by it a few years.

Agree with that, hard to begrudge a move when they aren't full time professionals as people.

As players, hope they fail miserably. **** the league for not building protection for existing clubs during the expansion.

Well as MEB said above it’s an admin problem . Not the right way to set up a league by sanctioning the raiding and pillaging of foundation clubs IMO. And I’m Norge.

Exactly right all the foundation clubs should not be a hatchery for the expansion clubs that they can just pick and choose and have a side full of great players and play finals asap they should have to grow organically like everyone else.

Plenty of commitment to the club from the men's side but plenty of revolving doors game changers leaving out those doors.

I agree totally.. but when even the club comes out and says 'yeah 4 expansion teams coming in.. we don't like it, but we're going to lose a couple and it's for the best'... it's hard to get invested. I mean bloody hell, if players aren't invested enough to stay, what hope do the fans have.

Once expansion is done, I think things will settle. It will be years before this competition will be considered 'elite', and I'm not just talking on field, but off field.

And that's ok, Rome wasn't built in a day.
