AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
I noticed an article recently celebrating the fact that after a year with injury, Razor Ray will be returning this year. I am confident that we will go close to the Flag this year - but this news will not help.
I actually thought, after that Fremantle game 2 years ago at the SCG, that Colless must have told the AFL " we do not want him for any swans games".
Sadly, he was only injured - presumably the mirror fell on him as we was practising free kick gestures, naked, in his living room. With the other umpires.
I thought he was gonna retire?
Jordan Bannister did for his family.
Don't think Ray was ever thinking of hanging up the boots.
I'm sure somebody on this board can organise an *accident* somewhere surely?
In all honesty though is it possible for a club to request that a certain umpire doesn't referee their matches?
that's his anti swans satanic ritual. the footy gods responded last year, lets hope he learned his lesson.
in seriousness, he's utterly hopeless as an umpire. i hate the fact that commentators refer to him as razor ray, i hate the fact that he has a public profile. i hope the league get him to tone i5 down. as far as i'm concerned, umpires should officiate the game fairly, and apart from that they should shut the **** up
and is concussed several times,
Wow... didn't think I could dislike the little fella any more than I already do ... but....Played footy against him in the juniors in Canberra.
Never stopped talking about himself and his football abilities.
I think he stopped growing at about the age of 13 and he still needs a booster seat when he drives.
For the record he was a Hawthorn supporter growing up.

Wishful thinking on all our parts.I thought he was gonna retire?
(Are you reading this Ray ?)
Is it ok to injury troll umpires? If so, then I hope Ray does two ACLs, breaks his leg, arm and hip and is concussed several times, all before the start of the AFL season, and is therefore unable to officiate over any Swans games ever again.
If it's not okay to say these things, please let me know and I shall consider toning it down a bit.
Great, in that case...As long as it's done in good spirit... complaining about the umps or refs has been a past time of many a sports fan for decades, so that's not likely to change soon. Humour is fine, but if we think something is in poor taste, has the potential to offend others, or is abusive, we'll delete it, and if it's not obvious why, we'll let you know. As a general rule, if you wouldn't want your kids to hear it at the footy, don't post it.
