It's 17 picks apart in every situation. Think about a round of midfielders. Would you want a shot at the best or the 18th best? At least doubling up at the end of the round gives you first shot at the next best player.

It literally makes the choices virtually even as far as they can be. It's not wooden spooner vs premier. It's empty side vs empty side.

Are you building a list for right now, or sustainable success and balance?

Establishing this before the start could really drive decision making.

Be happy to add something like that at the end, but for the time being just happy doing something to pass time where people get to build a team and opinions can be posted in the thread

Although... Leaving it open to interpretation might deliver more interesting results.

Poster A voted most likely to win premiership. Poster B seen as best chance of dynasty. Poster C voted as best match up against A and B... Etc
