reckon ouyen could hav the premier midfield this year obree antstey cook caldow gregg paterson all quality Plenty of key defenders in jardine munro oshannessy monaghan goal kickers in coach danny ageless grace sonny lindsay and its not hard seeing ouyen challenging for the flag

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

yes i agree. ouyen have recruited well. with sonny lindsay up forward and noonan gone from walpeup, i dont think there is n e one that can stop him.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

does anyone know how often their gunna update the clearences? pretty piss poor when we're a less than a month before the season starts!!!

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

They reckon he owes money. All they want him to do is sit down and have a meeting with president and coach, instead of communicating by text messages. Surely he can pay a bit of respect to the club that has looked after him handsomely over the past few years. For someone who is very courageous on the field, he is gutless off it.

Obsessed much? Way too many of your posts are about Darcy. What do you care anyway? As has been pointed out he has informed them and a meeting will achieve nothing. I wonder what he did to you? Move on mate its getting pathetic.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

Just wanting some info on Beulah how are they shaping up this year??? How are the Moore boys looking will Jez have to hold down a key position this year i know he just loves the backline :) What about Bubba and Rory Shannon theys boys playing this year??

The clearance page on malleefl.vcfl.com.au says that a few Gladmans and Hallams are off to other clubs in other leagues.
Are they off to leagues that start earlier and then come back later on?

The Gladmans have moved to Tooleybuc due to Scott's work. They actually moved there last year, so i doubt that they will be travelling back to Beulah once the season, but i could be wrong too. Gary Hallam came to beulah from down horsham way, so it's no surprise that he is going back. Jordan Hallam might have a bit far to travel back if he has applied for a clearance to the murray league.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

Just seeing if anyone watched the Woomelang practice match on Sunday? Few blokes from over Jindera have signed there and interestd to see how they played.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

Was at that game, bryce was ok, bloma was good in defence. but the whole side looked very under done, maybe coz of big saturday nights for some of the boys?

they'll go alright, but thats as long as they don't get sick of all the travelling, but if they like $$ they probably won't mind as much. rixon hasn't played for the cats yet.

No real stand outs, but there was vast improvement compared to last sunday. Tierney and the albury boys didn't play.

Be interesting to see how Ouyen went, didn't they play Nullawil? I think Sea Lake flogged Nully the week before.
Would like to hear how Ouyen's new recruits went. O'callagans, Anstey, O'Bree, Leach etc

Leach??????? a number at best, left due to grandfinal selection ( didnt get in W/U side ) seconds probably with ouyens List, but who knows recruits have been no better than locals sometimes so intersested to see views of those that watched.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

With the season startin this week, suppose should start some predictions, here's mine:
Walpy by 10 points
Ouyen by 40+ points
Sea Lake by 30 points

Hows Breeza's performance on the track been to date?? Heard he hasnt been to many!!

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

Woomelang any chance of beating Ouyen?

Not if the story is right that none of the boys are gunna make the 5hr trek from aulbry, coz none of them have clearances in yet according the the mallee website. so far the only recuit they have is tierney from sunraysia league. I reckon the cats might stuggle against the demons and probably most other clubs this year.

you'd be right there hook Blomley staying with Jindera has told the committee he is staying and has been training the past 2 weeks. As far as i know Rixon has agreed to return to soccer which is played on sunday here, so looks as though its only bryce scott that will be doing the travelling.

Re: Mallee Football League Part 2

my predictions
ouyen to beat woomelang
walpy to beat beulah
sea lake over hopetoun

ouyen vs sea lake in the granny. Think walpy may struggle with numbers which will hurt later in the year
