Never changeAll three are obviously green. Konate and Diaz are boss and Origi was with us for 7 years played 175 times for us and scored 41 goals including the sealer in the CL final.

Well if you include that shite in Amber you can move half of Uniteds Red into Amber.I think your ratings are way off. I was thinking Green = home run. Amber = decent signing, good service. Red = shite, failed signing.
Hence Clyne, Klavan and Lovren all being in the Amber category before being moved on.
Decent service is turning up at LiverpoolWell if you include that shite in Amber you can move half of Uniteds Red into Amber.
Is he Amber? Not sure if he's any good or not. Been 10 years since the campaigner has played.Bloody hell. Just found out Phil Jones is still on the books at United.

£50m for Casemiro. Another bandaid.
That's why it says 24 months.
His testimonial will surely be a highly emotional day for him and the club.
Including Phil Jones due to injuryNot sure if you're joking but he's on record saying he would never have one because he doesn't think anyone would show up.
Dont think VVD and Ali is the most expensive CB and GK. Think Maguire and Kepa win that. But that's beside the point.
I'm not arguing that Liverpool dont spend money, we do. Not enough for my liking if I'm honest but we do spend money. So do United. United spend more than us. Yet we have a well oiled machine full of world class players and United have a bunch of idiots running about for them.
You bring up most expensive CB and that's a good point to look at. We spent eye watering money of VVD. You then spend even more on Maguire. We got it right, you did not. This is a constant theme with United.
We got it right Fabinho, you did not with Fred. We got it right with Wijnaldum, you did not with Pogba. We got it right with Mane, you did not Lukaku. We got it right with Salah, you did not with Ronaldo. We got it right with Robertson, you did not with Shaw. The list goes on and on and on.
The recruitment at United has been nothing short of awful. City have all the money in the world so can afford to get it wrong, but even then, they rarely do get it wrong. They have the club positioned well, a structure, a culture, a way of playing and they only bring in players to reflect that. The same goes at Liverpool.
United though... well it's just a hot mess.
You were able to give a nuanced explanation to why Sancho isn't a flop, when most people would have him in red so far. So not sure why others can't either.Generally if blokes have just turned up I wouldn't put them straight into the Green category personally, I'd have them in Amber. Let them play a few seasons first. Guys who weren't good enough and you have sold go to red like Clyne/Klavan/Lolvren, etc.
People compiling these lists are going to be naturally biased about their players. It is not a criticism, it's human nature. Almost all the players in Cruyff's Amber list are dogshit and should be in red. Half of his Green should be in Amber. I'd move 5 of Art's Green list to Amber because they either aren't very good or have just turned up so it's too early to tell. I'd move most of his Amber to Red too.
This stuff is all subjective but in my mind Green = Good players. Amber = Not sure if good enough / Just arrived. Red = Dogshit/Requires upgrade/Sold.

Reflecting further Trippier and Sanchez would be amber, albeit I think we misused Trippier. As Simeone was able to show.
Amber for mine was not quite a nailed transfer but has made contributions whereas red should be for the guys who just flat out did not fire a shot. Price paid should play a part too. Alli for 5m is green for the service he provided, particularly with a side challenging for the league, but the same player bought for 50m and it is entirely different. Sissoko for example is not an outright flop because he was good in 17/18 and we'd not have made the UCL final in 18/19 without his performances that season. Was a major reason we came within a bees proverbial of the biggest and best trophy in Europe. Hard to put cheap backup GK's in red territory, number 2's aren't meant to gun keeper's or they'd be no1 somewhere else.
But by and large amber or red don't make much difference. Where you want to be is having a lot in the green column and I'd change 2 that I put up last night.
