Macca it was reckless, but not deliberate (to take him high). IMO, he will get games, but Bicks is not a dirty player. He is legend, so lay off as he will take what is coming to him. Do you want me start winging about the actions of Monty & P Burgoyne?

My 2 fav players after this weekend:

Daniel Hargraves!

Mark Bickley!

Onya bicks, good work, love to see them get a bit of what they've been doing for years, funny as heck they they all whine like bushpigs when the foot is on the other boot!

;)

Coming from the same people that question the integrity of Stewart Loewe, I don't know if it means anything.
Unlike Stewart Loewe, it looks like Wakelin was actually injured and wasn't playing for a free kick.

Similarly, I'd be surprised if Darryl goes all out to give damning evidence against Bickley, despite the definite impact involved.

4...at least...if the tribunal is going to be anywhere near consistent. Michael Stevens got two weeks for a lovetap which left Loewe 'slightly dazed' (yet able to jump up and run the 50m penalty when the penalty was called), Bickley has removed Wakelin from Ports finals plans. 4 weeks.

but Bicks is not a dirty player.

I beg to differ but thats just my opinion. He ALWAYS dives into packs knees first.

Needless to say, if Wanganeen forecfully elbowed one of your best players in the face and removed him from finals contention, im sure youd call him a dirty little prick as well.

Actions of Monty?? How bout Burton who charged late into his back!! But of course!! Nothing wrong with that!

Shane did earlier this season.

(But he was right in doing so I thought ;))

Anyway I agree with everyone that Bickley will more than likely have a couple of weeks holiday to freshen himself up for the finals.

As for Bickley being a dog person, I suppose James Hird and Nathan Burke are too. :p

Macca, you are clearly emotional & have lost the plot if you reckon Bickley should get 4 weeks. I feel sorry for D Wakelin, but it was not a deliberate incident to bust his cheekbone. Bicks was going in for one of his hard hits & recklessly left his arm up. I expect he will cop games (probably 2), but you are going over the top!

Oh we can stand the heat moron. And your use of the cliche is absolutely stupifying, in fact I think it's plainly made you stupid.
Good hard football is fantastic, but cheap shots like that are a disgrace.

lmao! the irony from a Port supporter.

Is being called a moron or stupid by a ugh boot wearing, mullet proud VB drinking pathetic excuse for a human being the same as being called smart by Einstein?

he he

BTW I was stoked Port won today, doesn't stop me from p***ing myself at the irony of the sooks on here though!

Yeah, I dunno. If that was just reckless, then there's probably never been a deliberate strike in the AFL.

It will be interesting to see how much the tribunal takes into consideration Darryl Wakelin's injury.

I agree with Kane that 2 weeks would be a fair result but that would have to take into account a guilty plea and Bickley's good tribunal record (which I think he has).

With 6 weeks to grand final day, hopefully Darryl will get an opportunity to recover in time provided Port are able to cover his loss.
