Mark Seaby has Quit the Eagles

So posters shouldn't comment on other sides lists when discussing if they are interested in trading for one of our players.

If your sick of it go do something else!!!! It's a public forum, deal with it.

I didn't say posters shouldn't comment on other sides.

However, you seem to think the WBD are suitable when:
Their posters have shown zero interest
And they're already committing their first pick to their ruck division

It's not difficult to understand that a club may be reluctant to then use their second rounder on a ruckman in the last untampered draft. The club has indicated it'll look for a key forward, but has said nothing about ruckmen.

Just putting two and two together here. Developing a scenerio you think fits the club is worthless. Over and out.

Mark Seaby will not go to a club if he going to be the 2nd ruckman.

Sydney need a new ruckman
Carlton yes if they cant get the deal with fremantle
Melbourne yes big time
Richmond no not really

Really?.. isnt simmonds 30yrs old? Would let them float him up forward more while their other backups develop...

"While Richmond will not give up its first national draft selection, No8 overall, its second-round selection (No26) could be used as part of a deal to satisfy the Eagles.
Tigers general manager of football operations Craig Cameron said: "We're in preliminary discussions with West Coast."
The Eagles, who will almost certainly replace Seaby by drafting West Australian ruckman Nick Naitanui with their first pick (No2 overall), will demand a better deal than Richmond's second-round draft selection"

My opinion is based on what alot of commentators have already said and also putting 1 + 2 together. Most people see the Dogs list problems are in the ruck and a key forward.

Many people also see them as close to a GF so to fix your ruck problems you need to trade for an established ruck, not a 18yr old bean pole.

How is that worthless thinking?

Put simply trading is for now, drafting is for the future. The Dogs are hot now so they need to balance their decision on what they need now versus what they need in 5 years.

I think he would be a good fit at the Saints personally and could learn a lot from King and be a good shield for McEvoy until he is physically ready (given that its likely to be Kings last season).

The Eagles in the paper over here are saying they want a first round pick, but based on last season, he'd be worth a 2nd/3rd rounder and no more really. Did his trade currency real damage this year. But he is young (24) in ruckman terms, so that is a positive.
