Geelong were heavily investigated during the Essendon scandal and as Neil Balme once said "they'll find 100% of nothing" Those tiny minds who believe Thompson's actions tarnish Geelong in any way are complete idiots!
Everybody loves a scandal, barring the people embroiled in one, of course. Footy fans in particular cannot get enough. Whether you admit it or not, few things make you feel better about yourself quite as intensely as seeing the people that society places on the highest of pedestals get knocked off of them in spectacular fashion. It's far worse in sporting circles.
