What evidence have you got to prove that the Dragons’ votes don’t reflect the broader views of the board, but the Royals’ do?

Seems like a wildly unsubstantiated claim in an attempt to discredit yet another factor showing Strig’s dominance over GC this year. 82 v 22 is not close mate.

It's an educated guess based on the likely voters from each club. Four players ranking Strigoi tenth gets her to 80 votes, which I can see coming from some combination of the Dragons, Bears, Swamprats and Phoenix. I would expect the Royals voters to have taken a more broad view to their voting outside of Bangers, Filthy and Marlowe. I know when I do this, I can usually come up with a list of 30-40 posters quite easily. If you don't get around as much, you'll tend to rate your teammates higher.

If GC is “fantastic” and the Dragons are significantly worse, how come GC polled so few votes compared to many Dragons (including Strig) in both this thread and the Beez?

As I said, it is an educated guess. The reason it is educated is because I have pretty good understanding of the characters around the board. Perhaps you would like to offer your view of how this mathematical equation might work?

Getting a bit defensive there Baz. You're yet to provide ANY quantitative proof that GC was better this season in the sim OR posting this season beyond the tackle count. Yet you were the one flying the GC flag in the Committee...not PMBangers. #outoftouch

Sure. Every team has the ability to vote for their own players, as per the rules.
It is therefore unreasonable to completely disregard one poster outscoring another by a ratio of 4:1, simply because you are assuming the player with more votes had more team support.
Logic would also dictate that if there is another impartial measurement of posting recognition/quality available (like this very thread), and it shows an extremely similar result between the two, that perhaps there’s some validity to that outcome.

For the record, I think GC had a great season and is a quality poster, but you’re yet to show anything to suggest it was better either stats wise or posting wise, other than your own opinion.

GreyCrow had better overall stats. The posting part is subjective however I personally don't enjoy 70 posts of Shaun the Sheep and Lucille Ball gifs. It's just not my cup of tea. The posting side is a chasm for me. It's not even close.

The process for selecting the All-SFA team has been explained in previous seasons but I'll go through it again. All clubs are asked to put together their All-SFA team and put it to committee for discussion. The 12 teams are collated and the result is discussed. From there, the admin selects the final team.

As far as my involvement goes, I represent one portion of 1/12 of the team that is put to the admin.

I've had this discussion with you, serial, P4L, the Gumbies, the committee. You already know the stats. If you want to single out hitouts, sure, Strigoi is #1 but that's not how it works. All of the stats are taken into account. I understand that doesn't support your argument and that's fine. That's still only 50% of the criteria. On the posting side, Strigoi will get some votes, GreyCrow will get some votes and Muddiemoose will get some votes. The end result is a consensus that choose the best of the three on a stats + posting basis.

To be honest, it sounds like you're not aware of the process.
