He looked like he had a lot more potential than that clown Clarke. Lacks a bit of fitness, but superior in every other area.

How do you know he is better than Clarke.Have you even had a look at Moller .Moller is playing in the Magoos for Peel .Hardly a glowing endorsement on his talent
Moller is superior in every other area apart from fitness ,stop spewing shit, your'e making a fool of your self.

I said "nearly" 100% on ground - and possessions do count for something. It actually shows he had his hands on the ball and was involved in play when at least half his teammates went missing. de Boer had more possessions in last quarter than any other Freo player. That's not my opinion, it's a fact.
If possessions were king, Dalziell would still be on an AFL list and Priddis would be a player opposition teams would have to do their homework on.

Problem is his possessions don't hurt. He needs to be more reliable on his set shots, and he's not alone.
Been offered a reduced one year contract apparently.
Hopefully he tells them to shove their reduced contract - needs another year like he's just had like a hole in the head I would've thought - and head to Melbourne, maybe part of Frawley deal, where he's got some chance to advance his career.

He really has it in for Clarke? Drilled him on multiple topics.
Kid is developing and our options are limited. If Moller was anywhere near clarke he would have got a call up. I dont think there is a team out there with a decent 2nd ruck compared to Clarke

He is playing in the reserves so he can play a full game in the ruck. It seems a shame that someone like him is not going to be given the 11 years you are happy to give Clarke to be of any value to the club. I liked what I saw in Moller. It is a personal view. I don't like what I see in Clarke, again a personal view.

He is 5 years younger.

How do you get that out of the article? if he's been on the rookie list 2 seasons, can't he stay on for a third exactly like Mengola who is referred to in the sentence before?
Yeah good point. Why are they implying that we need to make a decision on him then? You read the article better than I did.:thumbsu: Not sure what that is about. Is it two years and then an extra 1 if both parties agree. It was like that at one stage but who knows. It changes so often.
Well observed by you though.

Yes I have, I liked what I saw fwiw. How much he has progressed from there I have no idea, would have to be more than Clarke though. I'm just having a quick catch up between study, so i'll have to leave it at that Ross (oops I mean Salim). Feel free to regurgitate Ross's opinions if you want, i'll read them later.

Man you put up some crap.Where has Ross's opinion on Clarke been referred to by me.
Any fair minded person who has seen Clarke and Moller strut their stuff would recognise that Moller is a million miles away from Zac in ability.
If Zac was put onto the trade table the club would get knocked over in the rush to sign him with Moller in the same situation deafining silence

Don't think abuse helps matters Salim. Why don't you start your own thread about Zac? : yawn :

Frawley is a free agent.

Moller is not a good ruckman at the moment. That's okay though, that's why he's on the rookie list and why we got him as a football scholarship pick. I cannot take anyone seriously who has seen him play and thinks he would be a better option than Clarke now or next year. He's a worse forward than Clarke right now as well. He may make it, he may not, but if he does he is a while away.

If you think thats abuse you obviously have not been around here for to long:rolleyes:
Zac is neither he nor there for me but to rate Moller as better and then accuse me of some kind of Ross lovefest because I dont agree with his warped opinion just isnt on.

I hope I'm wrong and I will never bag a freo player, but I don't think Moller is going to make it. I have seen peel a bit this year, I even got the games early to watch the seconds play ( usually at 3/4 time ) if Moller was playing. He looks lost when playing as a forward and lazy when rucking. I don't believe he is lazy he just can't read the play all that well.

These basketballer/afl players take way too long and seem to lack the hard edge you need to play AFL. I wish Freo would stop taking them. You need more that a leap to be a good ruckmen in the AFL especially against the best ruckmen in the competition. You can't hold player's on your list as long as it takes to develop this sort of player. We would be better getting guys who are a bit older and have achieved some of their development at the lower level already before taking them.

Isn't Moller a basketballer/afl player?

Dean Brogan was a basketball player (played in a premiership for the 36ers) and he defiantly did not lack the harder edge. I would say the hard stuff was his favourite part of the game.

Melbourne press says -

Another casualty in attempts to lure Frawley and Waite on lucrative packages could be popular utility Matt deBoer.
DeBoer, 24, has been linked with a switch to Carlton.

That's purely list management / list size; nothing to do with trading as part of the possible acquisition of Frawley - or Waite for that matter either.
