Absolute no excuse not to make the 8 this year, he doesn’t and he has to be sacked. The issue is if we make it they’ll use it to keep him whilst in the background they’ve had to prop him up and give much of the coaching to Davis.

Last thing we want is another Ken situation where he’s in the 8 but not good enough. The difference is we’ve had to endure 5 years of non-finals already.

It's funny because it's exactly what we were told Pyke said to junior players that were gunning it up in the 2s. He apparently told them they were going really well, but they're not going to get selected unless multiple injuries intervene. The same people just employ the same people, nothing has changed.

tbf pyke was 10x the coach nicks was.

There is a hell of a lot more to coaching than just the game day stuff and I think Nicks is good at that other stuff.

He has zero ability to be tactical, but if he embraces someone coming and and helping fix one of his weaknesses - why shouldn't he be applauded?

If you have someone talented enough to fix Matthew Nicks, you need to reward that person with the senior position before they get poached by another club.

Yeah but Rowey in particular defends Nicks but criticises aspects of his coaching. He has a vendetta against Reid and is blind to bagging Nicks

That would mean Roo was definitely all in on the Premature Resigning/Next Premiership Coach calls.
I"ve also heard Bicks argue the "Its not one man, Who else is out there, Trust the process" point, similar to his thinking on Hinkley.
He's certainy more an apologist (now club appointed) than he is a toe-cutter.

Reckon Rowey just says things on radio for his show and get ratings. I think the words were “can you speak shit?” he said and of course responded “of course”, well then you have a show and as long as you are confident you will convince people.

I’ve had discussions with him and he has said Roo is the major problem.

Haven't listened to him for a very long time.

He used to try a sort of tough talk then when it came to interviewing, slapped them with a lettuce leaf.

Just found him irritating & felt dumber for listening to him.
