Geelong doesnt have a single accountable defender. Not one of our defenders ever plays on a forward.
In fact all our backmen only look good because of the quality backmen around them...

Scarlett is an out and out champion who has been twice AA and a Premiership player in the past 2 years. He shows no signs of slowing down other than the ankle injury he is carrying without complaint atm.

even for a troll on bay 13 this is a stretch.. c'mon no one ha got past him in the all australian full back position 4 times plus a premiership... Fletcher is a poor mans Scarlett... Best full back since SOS EASILY!

Yes and no. I think that Scarlett is a very good player, but he seems to get more kudos than would appear to be warranted based on his performances.
Maybe you need to explain that to the other 15 coaches who plan their attack around the concept of negating his influence on the contest?

Isn't it great though when people here assume they know better than AFL coaches, players and media experts and decide that a player is overrated by the so called experts?

It is outrageous that myself and Guzz were overlooked for the job. In all seriousness most pundits in the media have no idea. I mean as if Port Adelaide are a quality side. I picked West Coast to beat them and we all know what happened. I am a footy oracle.
