sirlothie no one is going to give a flying fu** if you bump your post when Shaz retires. And that could be in ten years. What a strange thing to want to hang your hat on.
As for the Mayne versatility s**tfight - given he was recruited as a defensive forward, became a target in Fremantle’s forwardline, and has at various stages played half back, half forward and sing for us indicates that he is indeed versatile. The better question is whether he remains versatile or whether he is now only capable of playing wing and as a stopgap defender to an AFL standard. Tarkyn Lockyer was versatile but when the end came he was found wanting, playing only the half forward flank to a borderline AFL standard. Time changes everything.
I can obviously see limitations a lot better than most.
