Membership 2024

Our bill is up to $1999.53. Standard which is the cheapest permanent seats and only 4 September members.

I get that there are new fans willing to pay but they aren't slow at raising the prices for us rusted on.

Surely Gold and platinum members could get a 10% discount just to make us feel loved. Our maybe we will only be loved next time we descend the ladder.

Edit $450 more than last year. I think they have overcharged on one concession but even so.

The not silver lining of a premiership (still worth it).

It looks like you can buy Deluxe seating with September membership.
I hope this does not mean the club will sell more than what's available
At this point in time they don't know if every September member from 2024 will renew.
They exhausted their numbers last season

There is a loyalty discount i just have not bothered to work it out as my membership is wrong at present.
Do you have any concession members in those tickets

Yeah, just edited the post. One youth was changed to concession.

I know the family of four used to be the cost of two adults which included the two kids, then changed to $40 per kid and now $75.

I'll check out the loyalty discount.

Same boat for me - one child became a youth.
Vic traditional: Family is $430 (the cost of 2A + 1J).
Now we can't get family, we get charge 2A + 1Y + 1J = $530.

Maybe I'll call the club, see if I can add another child to the membership group, so we get family plus 1Y. The cost should be the same, but for 5 tickets.

We have been sitting in the same seats with the same people sitting directly behind us for 15 years now. They are now premium + and we've become deluxe. The difference is $50 per seat more for us.

I can’t find the info, but a concession includes students doesn’t it?

I've been a September member for 30+ years and never bought a grand final ticket, mainly because I've been scared off by the cost of flights and accommodation. I'm now in my mid-50s and determined to see us play in a GF in person before I clock off.

Can anyone give me some advice on the best way someone in Bris can affordably go to the GF, ticket availability aside? Am I right in thinking you can buy flights that can be refunded within x days of the departure date? How far ahead should I be looking to do that? How do you go about doing refundable accommodation - AirBnB?

I stayed in quite a nice apartment in Footscray, 3 nights for $600 AUD. Fully cancellable until after the PF. Near the train station so easy to get a train in. Booking.com has a lot of cancellable accomodation and is upfront about when you can cancel until. That's what I used.

Flights I didn't buy until after the PF win but that was coming from UK so not much change in demand. Notied that China East Air had some pretty decent rates around that time which made the whole thing viable (£800 return on a week's notice, surprisingly cheap!)

You would have had September membership in 2024. That's why you are now classed as Deluxe.

I would say the people sitting behind you did not have September Membership last year.

If they did, they better check with the club why they didn't get the Deluxe membership this year.
Their ticket price will increase of course if this is the case.

They've had September member for years. We all went to the GF the last 2 years and we were all Priority 1. This new seating level thing is 🤪🤪

I still think your friends need to check if they have been taken out of what was September membership.
The $50 difference you mentioned in an earlier post does not look right to me either.
Maybe you need to go through comparing your ticket prices with their tickets to actually see the differences.

DELUXE Pink Sections: 10 small sections marked on the below membership map
I think i know the reason for this. It is all to do with new memberships in 2025
It is not about these are the only seats that contain a guaranteed GF ticket (previously called September membership)
These sections/seats are the only ones the club set aside for new memberships in 2025 to get a guaranteed GF ticket.
It actually states "Deluxe- Limited Packages Available" in my post number 648 on ticket prices
For arguments sake the club may have 100 of these types of memberships available. Could be more or could be less.
It may be just 10 in each of the 10 sections highlighted in pink.
Once they are taken up you won't be able to get one.

My Membership just happens to be in the pink section 423 like many others but that is just a coincidence.

Other members will be able to confirm that they are now classed as Deluxe but not seated in the Pink arears.

Hope that makes sense.

i can understand september membership going up. think it was sold out last year? clearly more demand than supply.

dont know why regular season tickets would be jumping up. doesnt impact me considering my membership is basically a donation but sucks for the brisbane based member.

I read on the page that the allocation of September memberships is full. Can't give then up now.
