News Membership/Finals ticketing

Used my ANZ cc which I hardly ever use, but had it down for the tickets. I've been working today, but still refreshing bank acct just in case. For some reason, my wife used that card for shopping this afternoon, which she never usually does. So disappointed after about 5 minutes of exhilaration. There better at least be some Tim Tams in the pantry when I get home.

Old man got lucky as a cat 2 member in the ballot.
His ticket appears to be a restricted view concession one.
He reckons he won't be going so I'll confirm when ticket is in hand and he all but confirms he'll watch from home.
I'll then revert on the forum and field some offers over a private message.
I'll then arrange for the buyer to go to my old mans place for a pick up and payment.
Good luck all in getting a ticket to those who haven't got one.

The only current way to tell if you have tickets is if they have taken money out of your account.
ANZ online banking doesn't show pending transactions. I had to ring to find out the money had left.
Hopefully you wake up tomorrow and find an email in your inbox with tickets. Good Luck

From The Advertiser website: "The Adelaide Football Club is expecting to receive 16,000 tickets for members who registered in a grand final ballot as scalpers seek to cash in on the blockbuster game.

Up to 25,000 Crows fans registered in last week’s ballot out of almost 73,000 members, according to club officials.

Of those, 12,000 were Gold and Legend members automatically eligible for a ticket — 80 per cent of those members took up the grand final option.

It means that 13,000 fans are scambling for 4000 tickets."




This is interesting to me, only 25,000 people registered? Only 80% gold barcodes used? And a 1/3 chance of people getting a priority 2 ticket?
