Imagine if we had a league where the best players can join forces for 2 teams and play each other.
Geelingwood CatpiesMelbourne and Port I reckon best balanced merged team!
And yes I have too much time on my hands!
Good luck stopping this team

No room for the likes of Maynard, Mitchell, Guthrie and Smith?Geelingwood Catpies
FB: Quaynor Moore Howe
HB: Stewart J.Henry Noble
C: J.Daicos De Goey Holmes
HF: Adams J.Cameron Miers
FF: Elliot Hawkins Stengle
FOL: D.Cameron Pendlebury N.Daicos
IC: Sidebottom Close Blicavs Crisp Rohan(sub)
Collingwood spread the load well but obviously their forward line is where they could improve (it's not just points scored as Geelong were top 2 or 3 for many years on that with a poor forward line). With N.Daicos essentially permanently in defence another elite half back flanker would complete them, while Geelong lack a lockdown small. Geelong also have a midfield weakness. A few positions could easily change but this or a couple of other combinations would be a really strong side.
Yeah, but no games at Kardinia Park.Geelingwood Catpies

This is easily the best combination of teams. The best team last year and the best team this year. Daicos + Dangerfield + De Goey = 100 point win against any team.Geelingwood Catpies
