League Status: 1st in all for total points dont really care about leagues there all horrible
Vent/Brag: Even with luck of making some good choices at start, luck of trading solidly, im still sitting at 4000 ahahah. Still no ablett will get hopefully in couple of weeks once the boil stops impacting his game. Tippet, clarke, dangerfield, ziebell!! Honestly i thought these 4 would be my master stroke this yr!
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: stop being an idiot and get ablett

Worst Starting Squad Picks: RO'K

Worst Trades: Hille to Seaby after Rd 3. 'Upgrading' Waters to H.Shaw

League Status: 1st, equal 2nd, equal 2nd

Vent/Brag: Vent, trading out Rockliff just before lockout Rd 1 for Relton Roberts. Brag, getting on the Malceski pre-season. Said he'd avg 90+ sitting on 102 at half way! :thumbsu:

The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Ummm, ask again later. :D

Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Top 500 by seasons end and not to run out of trades too early with only 7 left at the moment.

Worst Trades:hunt>shaw, roo> brown
League Status: 4th(most points but had unlucky losses)
Vent/Brag: Hille!, no score under 2000, got on pods at 83k
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: dont have too many risky players
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: will be strange with 1 team having a bye every week, dont know what will happen there but im hoping for a top 1000 finish in my second year of sc(this is my first)

Edit: sorry only did brag but all well not much to vent about besides my bad trades and bad starters listed above

Probably should have filled out one myself...

Best Trades: Trengove > Swan or Danger > Pav
Worst Trades: Hall > Higgins has cost me 350+ points and rising. Roo>Brown was a bad one as well (Should have gone Chappy)
League Status: 5th (BF Div 5) 1st & 5th
Vent/Brag: I now understand the importance in having good rucks.
Most Unique Player Hurn 3.82%
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Avoid Crows like the plague
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: There has been a noticeable rise in competition amongst the mid places, hoping to hold onto trades so I can make big gains at the end of the year to bolt up the rankings. :thumbsu:

Worst Trades: moles for jkt ( to have him for one week wen i had 4 x 0's)
League Status: cash = 2nd by %, 1st and 3rd
Vent/Brag: getting better each year still not the best but learning new things each year, vent- not picking pods up when i had him all pre season :(
Most Unique Player: jackson trengove lol probs trading him off very very soon
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: pick my team based on 22 rounds not round 1 ( roberts over pods)
Thoughts & Goals for 2010
keep improving hopefully

Overall Ranking: 41,633
Average p/Round: 2109.64
High Score: 2366
Low Score: 1966
MVP: Goddard
Best Starting Squad Picks: Hodge, Goddard, Pav
Worst Starting Squad Picks: Where do I start... Tippett wins this title! And picking Relton Roberts just because he was named.
Trades Left: 12
Best Trades: In-Judd, Barlow, Cox
Worst Trades: Trading out Jolly instead of Tippet, but worse are the trades I didn't do e.g. Not getting Podsiadly.
League Status: Had the worst luck in my league, 2nd on total points, however only just made it into the 8 this week.
Vent/Brag: First season doing Supercoach, so pretty happy with how it's going... Main venting is the fact that I chose Ryan O'Keefe over Chapman when trading out Riewoldt. Worst decision ever.
Most Unique Player: My team is pretty standard, main unique point is NOT having Ablett.
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Don't put Roberts instead of Pods just because he is named. Had Pods in there right until just before lockout. Also, I'd made a note in my diary to swap Morabito for Barlow before lockout, but forgot. Would have saved a trade.

MVP: Ablett/Goddard
Best Starting Squad Picks: Not inc MVPs: Hodge, Malceski, Barlow, Swan, Sandi, Enright, Selwood
Worst Starting Squad Picks: ROK, Goodes, Tippett, Dangerfield, Seabs (not his fault)
Trades Left: 7 left
Best Trades: Tippett>PODs; Hitchcock>Fyfe; Bastanic>Judd
Worst Trades: Seabs>Mummy>Cox (not a bad ending) :pRoo>Rioli
League Status:
1st overall (total points & ladder)
Vent/Brag: Barlow, Malceski, Waters, Maguire, Bastanic, Silvagni & Gumby were perfect cow options over the likes of Shuey & Moribito... How good is Barlow!! ANd I jumped on Fyfe, PODs before they went up & traded in Cox at his low point. Vent would easily be Rioli, Goodes, ROK & Brown.
Most Unique Player: Grimley on the bench? Duffield on the field?? lol :p
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Tippett & Dengerfield are not worth it! Don't double trade (i.e. OUT Seabs IN Mummy OUT Mummy IN Cox)
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Reach 2500 points; Stay in top 5000; Get to top 1000. Been a good run considering my bad luck with Seaby/Mummy/Cox trade; Also some bad luck with picking Rioli over Chappy or Pav for the Roo trade... Should have gone Pav and won't make that mistake again (i.e. injury rumors over good form!? What was I thinking really....).

Overall Ranking: 2231

Average p/Round: 2236

High Score: 2452

Low Score: 2023

MVP: Ablett

Best Starting Squad Picks: Ablett, Hodge, Lake, Barlow, Selwood, Pods

Worst Starting Squad Picks: Lockyer, Tippett, Connors

Trades Left: 8

Best Trades: Hurn > Malceski when the former got suspended and the latter was still at his starting price (could have really burnt me and went against principles but turned out a ripper trade), Connors > Judd, Jetta > Montagna, Rioli > Fyfe, Kennelly > Goddard, Seaby > Cox, Davis > Fisher

Worst Trades: Reiwoldt > Rioli

League Status: 1st/3rd/1st

Vent/Brag: Spent forever picking my initial forwards because I didn't like more than a couple, the rest all had question marks or were badly priced, still really wouldn't have believed the only two worth having at this stage were Chapman and Pavlich. Chose Lockyer directly over Pavlich partly to be more unique and partly because I wanted less KPF's...be comfortably in the top few hundred without that piece of genius selection.

Most Unique Player Hardingham...0.47% - hope he gets a game some day. :p

The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Chapman's body is better than ever.

Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Win the comp...and back in reality, finish as high as possible. Had a much more enjoyable time of it this year, injuries had me well and truly out of the picture by about rd.8 last year.

Overall Ranking: 4,825

Average p/Round: 2213

Low Score: 2090

MVP: Ablett/Goddard/Barlow

Best Starting Squad Picks: Hodge, Enright, Malceski, Maguire, Barlow, Selwood, Ablett, Nicky Dal, Pendlebury & Pavlich

Worst Starting Squad Picks: Hall, Clark, Hille, Dangerfield & Ziebell.

Trades Left: 5

Best Trades: Hitchcock > jPod, Dangerfield > Didak, Hille > Sandilands, Drummond > Goddard, Seaby > Cox, Ziebell > Fyfe, Martin > Swan & Maguire > Gilbee

Worst Trades: Riewoldt > ROK, Clark > Seaby

League Status: 5th, 5th & 1st

Vent/Brag: How awesome are the cash cows this year?!? Barlow, Martin, Trengove, Waters, Maguire, Schmidt, jPod, Fyfe & Rocky :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu: Happy I had the balls to go with Malceski, Maguire & Waters from the start. My only two vents would be not having Goddard from the start, and bringing in O'Keefe instead of Chappy when Roo went down. Oh and 2 wasted ruck trades; bringing Seaby in one week, only for him to go down the next.

Most Unique Player: Grimely on my ruck bench. Thought that the Hawks' ruck problems would force him in. Not to be though. Not phased, wanted to spend the bare minimum on my 4th ruck anyway, which is a strategy I will use in years to come.

The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Start with Goddard, Chapman and the two best rucks, you d***head.

Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Sitting just inside the 5,000 at the mo, which was sort've a semi-goal during the preseason. So I guess the top 1,000 is in my sights now. Really happy that I haven't put in a sub-2000 round (cue this week, lol),

Worst Starting Squad Picks: Mitchell, Banner, Medhurst, Hall, Tippett

Best Trades: Hitchcock -> Grant, Medhurst -> Pav, Hall -> Fyfe, Trengove -> Swan, Gumby -> Pods, Martin -> Boyd
Worst Trades: Roo -> Brown, Tippett -> Peterson
League Status: 1st, 3rd, 1st
Vent/Brag: Love my backline, only touched it once as a cash grab (Hunt -> Webberley) and the only players averaging under 100 are Waters (bargin) and Hurn (unique). Mitchell has been a spud, and my mid bench cover has generally been poor (thanks Shuey). My forward line has eaten 7 trades and been a failure, but i doubt thats overly uncommon
Most Unique Player: Hurn
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Pick Chapman over Roo
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Only my 2nd year (and last year was a last minute thing), learnt a lot from last year and will take a bit into next year too. Just gonna try and ride out the year and see how high i can get. i missed finals in my leagues last year, but managed to put together a team that scored higher than the finalists for most of the finals series. hoping for another strong finish to the year, and maybe take out a couple of leagues.

Best Trades: Reiwoldt -> Pavlich, MacDonald -> Malceski, Vince -> Swan

Worst Trades: Hall -> Higgins

League Status: 1st, 4th, 2nd

Vent/Brag: Not really anything one way or the other here. Been a steady year, nothing really high and nothing really low.

Most Unique Player: Hams, who I picked over Davis for the extra cash.

The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Pick Chapman over Goodes. Play a backline of Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Gilbee (had Joel MacDonald), Malceski (had Hunt), Kennelly (had Ladson), Waters, Maguire, Silvagni.

Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Last year was my first serious year and I dropped out of the top 1000 after Round 22. This year I was hoping to get back up there but it seems the big scoring rounds are happening more often this year, and I'm missing them all. :(

Best Trades: Hooker to Malceski, Roberts to Podsiadly (both b4 rises)
Worst Trades: Riewoldt to Rioli and Hall to Brown (Hall has outscored Brown since round 3)
League Status: 3rd, 1st and 1st
Vent/Brag: When i purchase a $750K player, he will be my captain week in, week out.. He should top score, 102 is not good enough.. Neither is 121. Thompson, get him outta the forward line..
Most Unique Player: Hurn (3.82%)
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Google Relton Roberts and see that he likes cake..
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: I really hope that the injury curse doesn't strike, and hoping for a top 100 finish in my second year..

Trades Left: 9 (prob 7 after this week)
Best Trades: Straight swap of Roberts-Pods before jPod went up in value, Trengove-Swan in round 8
Worst Trades: Don't get me started..
1. Reiwoldt to Higgins.. Was looking ok until recently Higgins has been struggling
2. Dangerfield-Goodes when Goodes was at $500,000 odd which I deemed a bargain.
3. Hall-Fyfe.. I did this and then Fyfe got 20 or something and Hall got 150.... sums up my trade luck this year.
3. Ballantyne to Boomer.. wasn't great a few weeks ago although Boomer got a nice 120 on the weekend.
4. Waters to Gilbee two weeks ago.. I thought this was a decent upgrade until I realised Waters has outscored Gilbee over these weeks
League Status: 1st, 6th, 3rd
Vent/Brag: Should have never started with Mitch Clark and Robbie Gray. Waste of space and had to burn two trades just to p**s them off out of my side.
Most Unique Player: Meh, maybe Boomer?
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: STICK WITH PODS AND ROCKLIFF. DON'T SWAP THEM FOR HITCHCOCK AND SOME BLOKE CALLED RELTON ROBERTS JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE NAMED..

League Status: 2nd, 4th and 6th
Vent/Brag: I've been blessed with injuries and still have 10 trades with a couple of good cash cows to trade in. Would like Pav and Sandi in and i'll be happy. Also glad that I missed Relton.
Most Unique Player: Stanton
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Get Jack Riewoldt instead of Dangerfield or Ziebell and always pick Ablett, Chappy and Sandi.

Best Trades: Medhurst->Fyfe, Dangerfield->Dal Santo
Worst Trades: nothing too shocking
League Status: 5th & 1st (leagues both ranked ~200 in the comp)
Vent/Brag: Have yet to register a really good score, but have been fairly consistent. Once again I've still fallen for the trap of using too many trades too early and now can't afford many more shuffles to upgrade the rookies i have left. Gotta stop the knee-jerk reactions to a couple of bad scores from an otherwise premium player.
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Do way more research on rookies/draft picks from other teams - which ones are most likely to get into the 22 consistently - rather than just pick those in at round 1 but then drop off (Mitchell Brown, i'm looking at you)
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Top 5000 is all I'm after for my 3rd real try at this game. on track to get there if i can keep consistent.

League Status:

Vent:
Starting with ordinary players like Medhurst/Masten/Tippett
Brag:
Picking Malceskiover Kennelly
Most Unique Player:
Cross and Hurn (3.8%)
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year:

Don't pick ordinary players/listen to misfits banging on about Masten/Tippett.. Go with your hunch and not pick players based on prices to go close to the salary cap of 10mil aka could of got someone cheaper then Medhurst or Tippett who would of averaged more then him anyways and have money leftover..
Also as stated above, don't be frightened if a rookie isn't named in the 1st round.. He will play sometime during the season (Podsiadly )and more then likely play more then some that are named in round 1 (Relton)

Thoughts & Goals for 2010:
Been a pretty consistent year despite some ordinary starting selections, looking to consolidate trading from now on with 9 trades left although 2 maybe used this week. Would like to win at least 2 of 3 leagues and get into the top 500 again and stay there :)

Trades Left: 7
Best Trades: Clarke > Sandilands, Bastinac > Hayes, Trengove > Cooney
Worst Trades: Riewoldt > Rioli, Gilbee > O'Brien, Ziebell > Brennan
League Status: 1, 9, 2
Vent/Brag: Very pissed off bout Mitch Clarke, after last season was hoping he may end up being a genuine premium keeper with Sandi/Cox like scores. Will defintly be getting on him next year at a low price.
Malceski finally putting up the scores i always expected, having him in team in previous years. Defintly should have held onto more trades.
Most Unique Player: Lenny Hayes 5%
The one thing you wish you could have told yourself before lockout round one this year: Start with Goddard and Chapman! Teams with the quartet of Hodge, Goddard, Ablett and Chapman are the teams to beat.
Thoughts & Goals for 2010: Hopefully no more big injuries from here, my forward line to start putting up some constistent scores over hundred each week, force way back into top 100.
