Exactly! He's been doin it all his career. Any young player knows to expect a cheap shot across the back of the head when Hendo's around. He's definately a great player, but these things let him down.

I think mate u need to worry about urself, sounds like quite a few ppl on this thing are easy to critise. "he has been doing it all his career" do u watch him every wk? shit u must if u know that he has been doing it all his career, he must have a fan club that comes every wk, lucky fella! start coming up with beta discussions because this one is pretty pathetic if u ask me!

Agree with you mate, can play but is absolute thug! Spends alot of time also standing around huffing and puffing too. If only he was fit!

Good win for his boys on saturday, great to see and good for the comp.
So where is McLeanMagic with all his excuses and who wasn't playing????

Guezz he must b so unfit that he nearlly gets best on every game....he really must need to work on his fitness....i think ur rite strike anywhere....ur right on the money mate!

Well according to the VCFL website, he is second behind Jahn Knight in the Paul's Dairies Award.
http://www.minineradfl.vcfl.com.au/toptenawards.asp?comp=6289&OrgID=370

Plus I do believe the Demons have a few more injuries than those mentioned in previous posts.

Just for some inside info... Jahn Knight is the cousin of Chris and Martin Heffernan from Terang area.

I am hoping the Demons continue to serve it up against the others and make this finals series partly interesting.

What is this rumour I hear about 2 rich farmers leaving a healthy sum of money for the Tatyoon football club so that they may continue to prosper??

Is it true that Brad Sholl agreed to Capt/Coach Carngham/Linton pre season but money got the better of him??

I have heard that it happens every season, the farmers put portions of their havest towards tatyoon!!

Word is the Puma's have scored a massive signing in Matt 'Man Mountain' Reid. Could be the difference up forward, with a kick for goal so accurate he could knock a soup can off a fence 9/10 times from 30 yards away.. Defenders beware!

Were does he hail from?

I'd be questioning why a player would leave a club mid-season and whether the Pumas really want someone who will do such a thing.

little hawk, have you ever considered that maybe the club is well run with strong sponsors that are keen to align themselves with a professionally run sporting club, good gate takings every home game (success breeds success), which in turn gives good bar takings, strong attendence by supporters at training (more over the bar), inovative, fun & successfull fund raising (Cecil the Ram, auctions, Taty Ball, etc, etc), a great club environment which ensures that players stick around after home games (more over the bar and through the kitchen).

Yes, the club is a product of its own success, but it comes through dedication and hard work of the entire Tatyoon community. I'm sure, as with all clubs, that there are locals who are willing to chip in to ensure the success and long term viabilty of their sporting and social hub!! I think that they should be congratulated for surviving and thriving in country footy as many others around them fold or merge (1 of only 2 in the MDFL to stand alone). Even more amazing considering that there is no actual town base, just the footy club & farm supplies.

Don't know which club you affiliate yourself with, and dont really care, but sounds like you are somewhat jealous!! How about you stick to talking footy and stop muck racking!!

I think it is fantastic that Tatyoon continue to survive on their own.
Football mercenaries are always looking for clubs like this.

Lismore derrinallum are starting to develop into a finals contendor
been alot of posts about tatyoon having injuries! but i can say the dees had 6 out. Neil Kelly, rob mcdonald, clint dudman, kenny ruggles, paul and adam mcosh. there is 3 out of the midfield. 2 ruckman. and 1 utilitys.
Now.
Word is the club is housing some young talent.
Glen stewart, Allan Noone, Arron white, Clint dudman and Michael may.
Clint dudman is a tanky youngman who is hard at the footy and backs it up with devine delivery at the young age of 15 he will go a long way in footy, would have won the u16 league b and f last year but finished top 3 after missing 3 games through injury.
I personally witnessed young camperdown recruit allan noone play against woorndoo/mortlake, he showed class and a skill level above the mininera league, not to mention an explosive pace that what from i hear has yet to be matched this year.
glen stewart is a classy gutsy left footer, who continues to prove himself in senior footy
Arron White is in the same boat as noone, silky skills and pace to burn.
Michael may is hard at the footy, and reads the play real well.
Keep an eye out for all these youngster in the coming weeks.

I follow hampden league club Terang Mortlake despite living in camperdown.
these boys will no doubt be recieving phone calls in the next few years.
GO BLOODS AND DEES!

this must be some sort of joke... who the bloody hell would seriously consider Matt "Cherry" Reid as a great recruit for Moyston... he may be a great kick but is far from the best at finding the ball, soft as a feather and one of the most selfish players ever... would be lucky to get a game in moystons seniors and it would be a backward step for them...

matt "marshmellow" reid could almost have less of a heart than craig "tin man"cooper

i dont believe dudman would have won last years league B&F even if he had played the three games that he missed, if you check the results he did lose by 10 votes, it doesnt seem as though he is too good. obviously it isnt a strong junior league and if he cant get within 10 votes of a leader in our league i dare say he'll be playing in MDFL for the remainder of his career. http://www.minineradfl.vcfl.com.au/_uploads/res/370_6438.pdf

i believe white has been playing in the reserves, this is barely evident that he is going to be too damaging in the 1's, his disposal is poor and will let the side down.
Glenn stewart is the better of these young players from derri, very fast just like his older brother, has the most potential to go further in his footy, also very quiet and humble, unlike the other young boys mentioned.
why didnt troy Zadow get a mention in these "young guns", although last time i saw him play he barely registered a possesion.

teams such as glen dunk, penshurst and wik/bolac are more reliant on there younger players than lismore, lismore do have a couple of younger layers playin 1's for them who are doin quite well however lismore is an older more senior based team that tends to rely more on there more aged senior players. I wouldnt be surprised to see lismore finish 2nd place on the ladder, tatyoon arent the same team they have been in previous years, although there still very strong and are definately a chance to take out the premiership again this year. hawksdale/mac shouldnt lose another game this year, hard to see taty beat them again next time they meet, hawksdale are gettin stronger with every game and the new players hav gel'd in the side quite well. And moyson willura is a very underrated team that shouldnt be taken lightly despite not beating a team above them are well beyond any team beneath them.

its odvious who the first 4 will be hawk/mac,lismore,taty,moy/will
but its goin to be a real tussle for fitfh between caramut and rams, both teams have there injure troubles and will face off in two weeks time, caramut won convincingly the first time round with rams bein almost a compltely new side but since then the rams have improved and statred to gel a bit as a side so this time around the match will definately be alot closer

does anyone favour rams this time around??

hey mate, ease up. dudman missed 8 games during the year.
and zadow doesnt play at lismore derri anymore. working in terang so playing there again. the kid can play, and obviously to good for mininera
Noone is in the same boat, but is playing at home with his mates, clint dudman included. Dudman is just about guarenteed to have a crack at hampden league. so time to get your facts right chump.
White is improving everygame, and is lighting. dominated against tayoon.
Go to on of the games, watch these young kids.. imsure there will make you eat your words
