He and Oscar Allen would be an formidable forward line at the Eagles.

Our forward line is fine. Fremantle needs a decent forward as they don't have one
Freo desperately need a main man down there, Georgiades is more your 2nd or 3rd tall
They do have Amiss coming through also

Not debating our forwards suck outside Amiss and an old Walters but I think we have our forward sights elsewhere. Georgiades is a WC target and we arent in this race

The mail over here in Melbourne is that he doesn't want to return to Western Australia (for reasons I have no idea)

Darling is almost 31 and won't be there by the time they bounce back

I think you're selling Allen short, he could be a star shortly, he's still building from a long term injury. Their forwardline is definitely not fine though (though still probs better than ours)

Definitely suits my agenda he goes to the Weagles rather than the Carringbush.

Only injuries have prevented Allen from becoming a star/elite status.
Fully fit he is a gun and very hard to defend one on one.

Young promising tall gets dropped, posters are gong to talk. WCE might be a good fit, they have under Simpson always played a style that gives their key forwards a good look at it.

He should be a perfect to play next to and Allen Darling before taking his role in a few years, if it happens.
If it makes any difference this was going around like just after last trade period but I'm only mentioning it because Elmer said the Vic goss was that he doesnt want to go to WA. I generally try to avoid posting goss on this board because you just set yourself up to look like a dickhead haha.

Possibly. No doubt injury has let him down but even so I don’t see him in the same ball park as Naughton, Curnow, Kings etc
No doubt he’s going to be a very good footballer but I wouldn’t be leaving it all up to him
I don’t think Allen, or Mitch, or anyone has to be like naughton , curnow or king.
If every club could have 2 or more of those blokes they would, but they can’t. There isn’t 30 odd blokes of that quality running around.
Allen is a quality kf, when he’s fit.

But the fact that I don’t see him in the same category as those other players and really there is not a lot on the list after that, suggests that West Coast are not “fine” in terms of forwards
It would 100% make sense for them to target Georgiades
Being near the bottom of the ladder will allow them to get him fairly cheap also
